Passive components for Poland’s LED lighting makers, sourced from Hong Kong, start with the resistors that sit near mains voltage in a driver. Matching our 23 September 2026 stock list to Walsin’s export, 134 of 234 stocked general purpose resistor lines have a High Voltage series twin on size, value, tolerance and power. None of those twins is on the shelf.
Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) chip resistor parametric exports: 137 files, 234,815 rows, 234,401 distinct part numbers. This post is for a purchasing or design engineer at a Polish luminaire or LED driver maker, or at the EMS partner that builds its boards, who wants a resistor with a higher-voltage rung than a general purpose part. Every part number below is real and every count is ours. The development statement names its source, its date and the day we fetched it, 23 October 2026.
What did Trilux publish about its Polish LED plant?
A new factory. The German lighting maker Trilux said on 12 September 2024 that it had opened a plant in Świdnik, near Lublin, for energy-efficient LED lighting with a focus on office and retail, with capacity of up to one million luminaires a year and an investment of about 32 million euro. It started with about 70 employees and planned to grow to 250.
The trade site Evertiq reported the same opening on 2 October 2024. Neither page mentions a component, a shortage or a supplier, and we draw no conclusion about which parts the plant uses. We have no relationship with Trilux and make no claim that it buys from us. The point for a Polish buyer is simply that LED luminaire assembly is being built in the country.

How many stocked general purpose resistor lines have a High Voltage series twin?
134 of 234. We joined our 23 September 2026 stock list to the chip resistor export: 250 stocked resistor lines have a row, and 234 are general purpose thick film. A twin shares size, resistance, tolerance and rated power. 134 of the 234 have one or more in the High Voltage series, 247 twin part numbers in all, and 0 of those 247 are on the shelf. We have not seen this counted anywhere.
The High Voltage series starts at 0603, so no 0402 or 0201 line can have a twin: 82 of the 100 lines without one are those two sizes. Another 18 sit at 0603 to 2512 with a value or tolerance the series does not list. The export has no voltage column for any resistor, so the twin tells you the series name and nothing about working voltage.
| Case size | Stocked lines | With a High Voltage twin | Match / mismatch |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0201 | 4 | 0 | Mismatch: series starts at 0603 |
| 0402 | 78 | 0 | Mismatch: series starts at 0603 |
| 0603 | 98 | 90 | Match on size, value, tolerance, power; mismatch on series |
| 0805 | 26 | 22 | Match on size, value, tolerance, power; mismatch on series |
| 1206 | 26 | 21 | Match on size, value, tolerance, power; mismatch on series |
| 2512 | 2 | 1 | Match on size, value, tolerance, power; mismatch on series |
Which worked part numbers show the twins, and what differs?
Take the stocked 0603 line WR06X1000FTL: 100 ohm, plus or minus 1 percent, 100 ppm, 1/10 W. WF06V1000FTL shares its size, value, tolerance, power and 100 ppm ceiling; WK06V1000FTL shares the first four but goes to 200 ppm. At 1 percent, 101 of 170 stocked lines have a twin; at 5 percent, 33 of 60. The last column is for your incumbent part.

WR06X1003FTL |
General Purpose | 0603, 100,000 ohm, 1%, 100 ppm, 1/10 W | Reference line, stocked | |
WF06N1003FTL |
High Voltage, UL Safety Certification series | 0603, 100,000 ohm, 1%, 100 ppm, 1/10 W | Match on five fields; mismatch on series name | |
WR04X1003FTL |
General Purpose | 0402, 100,000 ohm, 1%, 100 ppm, 1/16 W | Reference line, stocked; no High Voltage twin |
The export also names a separate series, High Voltage Chip Resistor UL Safety Certification. 18 of the 234 lines have a twin there, all at 100 kilohm to 1 megohm. We hold no resistor document for that series and make no claim about its approvals. Our note on the limit nobody checks on high-voltage chip resistors explains why the series name is not a voltage rating.
What do Walsin’s documents say about lighting?
Very little, and none of it is about a luminaire. We converted all 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, to text and searched them: the word lighting appears in 9 of 28 files, and 0 of 28 contain an LED driver, a luminaire or a lamp. Two soft-termination sheets list the lighting industry as an application; three safety capacitor sheets mention equipment for lighting or surge; four sheets mention back-lighting inverters, which are display parts.
We hold no datasheet for the High Voltage resistor series at all: the two resistor sheets are the MR automotive sheet and the WR general purpose sheet, ASC_WR_V24, dated September 2016.
What will we not tell you about Poland?
Anything about Polish or EU lighting, ecodesign or product-safety rules. We hold no office, entity or stock in Poland; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We state no duty rate, customs procedure, transit time or carrier, and we give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team. We make no claim that any Walsin part is approved for any luminaire.
How Venatech helps
We start with the cross-reference. Paste a resistor line into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts and lists Walsin candidates with match and mismatch fields, or upload a list to the BOM checker, up to 500 part numbers. The Hong Kong ready-stock list is a dated snapshot, 23 September 2026, never live-synced. Walsin is the only line we are authorised for; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. We work from Hong Kong, in small lots, and you can request a quote through the site. We offer lot and date-code traceability and a certificate of conformity per shipment on request. We hold neither ISO 9001 nor IATF 16949. The tables above came from our own export; the chip resistor range lists the families, and our guide to crossing resistors to Walsin shows the method. Qualification stays with you.
The short version
For a Polish LED driver board, case size decides whether a High Voltage series option exists. 134 of 234 stocked general purpose lines have one, 0 of 82 lines at 0201 and 0402 do, and none of the 247 twin part numbers is on the shelf. The export carries no voltage column, and we hold no datasheet for the series.
Send us one resistor line from your driver bill of materials and we will return the Walsin candidates with every difference stated. If the series name is all your drawing says, who is checking the voltage?

Frequently asked questions
What did Trilux say about its Polish LED factory?
On 12 September 2024 Trilux said it had opened a plant in Świdnik near Lublin with capacity of up to one million LED luminaires a year, an investment of about 32 million euro and about 70 staff at the start. It names no component. We draw no conclusion about its purchasing.
How many stocked resistor lines have a High Voltage series twin?
134 of 234 stocked general purpose lines, as at 23 September 2026, share size, resistance, tolerance and rated power with a High Voltage series part. At 1 percent it is 101 of 170; at 5 percent, 33 of 60. A twin is a catalogue match, not a qualification.
Why do 0402 and 0201 lines have no High Voltage twin?
Because the series starts at 0603. We parsed its 10,437 rows: five case sizes, 0603 to 2512, with no 0402 or 0201. 82 of the 100 stocked lines without a twin are those two sizes. A smaller part cannot be swapped for a larger one without a layout change.
Are the High Voltage twins on the shelf?
No. None of the 247 twin part numbers is in our stock list, which is a dated snapshot of 23 September 2026 and not live-synced. They are in Walsin’s catalogue and can be requested through the site.
Does the export state a working voltage for these resistors?
No. The chip resistor export has no voltage column for any series, and we hold no datasheet for the High Voltage series. The working voltage comes from Walsin in writing; it is on our request list.
Do you state Polish or EU lighting rules?
No. We hold no Polish or EU lighting, ecodesign or customs content, and no office or stock in Poland. We give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team.
