TDK C-Series to Walsin for the UAE: With e& Allocated 6425 to 6775 MHz, a TDK 1 pF C0G Number Is a 0201 Part with 4 Exact Walsin Candidates, None on the Shelf, and TDK’s 75 V Code Has No Walsin Part

A TDK C-series cross reference to Walsin for a UAE buyer starts with a size trap. TDK’s C0603C0G1H010C030BA is a 1 pF, 50 V, C0G part in the 0201 body, not the 0603. We found 4 exact Walsin candidates in 4 series at the right size, and none is on our Hong Kong shelf.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) MLCC parametric export (00_ALL_MLCC_parts_combined.xlsx): 24,026 rows, 23,601 distinct part numbers. This post is for a procurement or design engineer at a UAE telecom, radio or electronics maker whose bill of materials carries TDK C-series numbers and who wants a second source to review. Every Walsin part number below is real and every count is ours. The TDK numbers are the incumbent and are printed in TDK’s own catalogue. We read every news item and document on 23 October 2026.

What did the UAE publish on 24 September 2026 about the upper 6 GHz band?

A white paper, and an allocation. NYU Abu Dhabi reported that it, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), e& UAE and Khalifa University jointly published “The Golden 6 GHz Band” on 24 September 2026, and that e& UAE’s allocation is 6425 to 6775 MHz, 350 MHz of contiguous spectrum.

The same report says e& UAE is deploying a commercial 256-channel Giga-MIMO system with launch slated for the second half of 2026, designed for peak downlink speeds up to 10 Gbps. Its modelling puts upper 6 GHz coverage within 2 to 5 percent of 3.5 GHz C-band, about 1.5 times the spectral efficiency, and about 3 times the cell capacity when 200 MHz of upper 6 GHz is compared with a 100 MHz C-band carrier.

Our view, labelled as ours: a radio that packs many RF channels into one board is a board full of small C0G capacitors, and the 0201 body is where that density lands. We do not know what e& or any of its suppliers buy. The question for a UAE buyer is only whether a TDK C0G line has a Walsin candidate at the same body.

How does the TDK number C0603C0G1H010C030BA decode?

Field by field, and the first field is the trap. TDK’s commercial general catalogue (document stamp 20260831, August 2026) prints C0603C0G1H010C030BA as series C, dimension 0603, C0G, code 1H, 010, tolerance C, thickness 030, packaging B and a special code A. TDK’s own dimension table pairs its 0603 with the EIA name CC0201.

TDK field Code Reads as Walsin export field Match / mismatch
Dimension 0603 0.6 × 0.3 mm body, EIA 0201 Size 0201 Match at 0201; mismatch if read as Walsin’s 0603
Temperature characteristic C0G C0G Dielectric NPO Match
Rated voltage 1H 50 V Rated Voltage 50Vdc Match
Capacitance 010 1 pF Capacitance 1.0pF Match
Tolerance C ±0.25 pF Tolerance +-0.25pF Match
Thickness 030 0.30 mm T 0.30±0.03 Match
Packaging and special code B, A 178 mm reel at 2 mm pitch; TDK internal code not in the export Unknown: we cannot compare it

We read this from TDK’s table and its two printed examples. The export carries no packaging or reel field for MLCC, so the last row is an unknown, not a match.

Which Walsin parts cross a TDK 1 pF, 50 V, C0G number, and what differs?

Four match on every field we can compare, and all four are off the shelf. We filtered all 23,601 Walsin part numbers on size 0201, NPO, 1.0 pF, plus or minus 0.25 pF and 50 Vdc: 0201N1R0C500, MT03N1R0C500, HH03N1R0C500 and RF03N1R0C500, one each in the general purpose, AEC-Q200, High Q and Microwave series. Each has T 0.30 ± 0.03 mm, and none is on the 23 September 2026 list.

Walsin part Series Size, dielectric, capacitance, tolerance, voltage On the shelf Match / mismatch
0201N1R0C500 General Purpose 0201, NPO, 1.0 pF, ±0.25 pF, 50 V No Match on all six fields
HH03N1R0C500 High Q & Low ESR 0201, NPO, 1.0 pF, ±0.25 pF, 50 V No Match on the fields; the export has no Q or ESR column, so the gain is unknown
RF03N1R0C500 Microwave 0201, NPO, 1.0 pF, ±0.25 pF, 50 V No Match on the fields; the export has no Q or SRF column, so unknown
MT03N1R0C500 AEC-Q200 automotive 0201, NPO, 1.0 pF, ±0.25 pF, 50 V No Match on the fields; mismatch on grade, and Walsin says compliant, not certified
0201N1R0B500 General Purpose 0201, NPO, 1.0 pF, ±0.1 pF, 50 V No Mismatch: tighter tolerance than the TDK number asks
0603N1R0C500 General Purpose 0603, NPO, 1.0 pF, ±0.25 pF, 50 V No Mismatch: a 1.6 × 0.8 mm body, T 0.80 ± 0.07 mm

The High Q and Microwave rows are the ones an RF designer will ask about, and the export cannot answer it. We hold no datasheet for the RF capacitor series, and the Walsin export publishes no quality factor. Ask us for what Walsin has on the exact part number, and measure it in your own circuit. Our post on high-Q low-ESR MLCC for RF explains where the series differ.

What does the size name 0603 do to a part search?

It selects the wrong body. We counted Walsin 1.0 pF NPO parts by size: 55 at 0603 and 39 at 0201, so a search for 0603 returns 55 parts that are the wrong body, and the whole export holds 4,721 rows at 0603 against 2,544 at 0201. The 0603 candidate above is 0.80 mm thick, against TDK’s 0.30 mm.

This is a naming collision, not a data error on either side: TDK writes its body in millimetres as 0603, and Walsin writes the EIA inch name as 0201. Our post on imperial and metric case sizes gives the full table. We have published this collision for other TDK sizes; what is new here is that at 1 pF the wrong answer is 55 real, orderable parts.

Which TDK voltage codes have no Walsin part behind them?

Two of nine. We counted Walsin parts at each of the nine rated voltages in TDK’s C-series code table: 2.5 V (code 0E) and 75 V (code 1N) have zero Walsin parts, 35 V (code 1V) has 16 parts and none is on the shelf, and the other six codes have between 41 and 6,514 parts. The next Walsin rung above 75 V is 100 V, with 3,089 parts.

TDK code Rated voltage Walsin parts On the shelf Match / mismatch
0E 2.5 V 0 0 Mismatch: no Walsin rung; the lowest is 4 V
1V 35 V 16 0 Match on rung; mismatch on shelf
1N 75 V 0 0 Mismatch: no 75 V rung; 100 V is the next, a higher rating

A big-capacitance line shows the same pattern. TDK prints C3225X7T0E227M250AC: 3225 (EIA 1210), X7T, 2.5 V, 220 µF and 2.50 mm thick. Walsin’s X7T class holds 2 parts in the whole export, both 2220 soft termination parts at 250 V. The nearest 1210 candidate is 1210X227M4R0: X5R, 4 V, 220 µF, 2.50 ± 0.30 mm, not stocked. It matches on size, capacitance and thickness and mismatches on dielectric and voltage.

What do we hold on the Hong Kong shelf for small C0G values?

24 lines out of 759 parts. We counted NPO parts at 0201 with a capacitance of 3 pF or less: 759 Walsin parts, of which 24 are on the 23 September 2026 list, and none of the 15 parts at 1.0 pF and 50 V is among them. The 0201 case has 99 shelf lines in all, 69 of them NPO.

The 759 parts sit in six series, and the Microwave series alone holds 316 of them. The stock list is a dated snapshot, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. The ready stock page shows what is held in Hong Kong. We hold no TDK list of affected or changed numbers, so nothing here says that any TDK part is short or withdrawn.

How can Venatech help a UAE buyer who holds a TDK C-series bill of materials?

By reading the TDK number for you, naming the Walsin candidate at the right body, and stating each difference. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong. Walsin is our only authorised line, and the other lines we supply are Stackpole and Viking.

  • Cross-reference. Paste a TDK C-series number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read each Walsin candidate with match and mismatch stated field by field.
  • BOM check. Upload the bill of materials to /bom/ and have each line checked against the same engine.
  • Ready stock. The ready stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026, never live-synced.
  • Service. Hong Kong-based, small lots, cross-referencing help, and a quote requested through the site. Our address is Unit 207, 2/F, Sun Ling Plaza, 30 On Kui Street, Fanling, N.T., Hong Kong, telephone (852) 2628 4777.

A worked example from our own export: TDK C0603C0G1H010C030BA maps to 0201N1R0C500 on every field we can compare, with HH03N1R0C500 and RF03N1R0C500 as the series to ask about for RF work. We hold no ISO 9001 or other quality certificate for Venatech, so a supplier questionnaire that asks for one should be raised with us before you commit. Qualify in your own circuit. Our MLCC range lists the families, and our stock list is a snapshot dated 23 September 2026.

The short version

TDK’s 0603 is Walsin’s 0201, and at 1 pF C0G that single naming difference separates 4 exact candidates from 55 wrong-body parts. TDK’s 75 V code has no Walsin part, and the next Walsin rung is 100 V. e& UAE’s 6425 to 6775 MHz allocation, reported on 24 September 2026, is the setting, not evidence about any supply line.

Send us one TDK C0G line from a live bill of materials and we will return the Walsin candidate at the right body with the differences stated. Which of your TDK numbers did a size name once mislead?

Is TDK C0603 the same size as a Walsin 0603 capacitor?

No. TDK’s dimension table pairs its 0603 with the EIA name 0201, a 0.6 × 0.3 mm body. Walsin’s 0603 is the 1.6 × 0.8 mm body. A search for 0603 on a Walsin list returns the wrong body, so cross at the body size, not the number.

Which Walsin parts cross TDK C0603C0G1H010C030BA?

Four match on size, C0G, 1 pF, ±0.25 pF, 50 V and 0.30 mm thickness: 0201N1R0C500, HH03N1R0C500, RF03N1R0C500 and the AEC-Q200 MT03N1R0C500. None is on our 23 September 2026 list. Packaging and Q are not in the export.

Does Walsin list a 75 V or a 2.5 V capacitor?

No. We counted Walsin parts at each rated voltage and found zero at 75 V and zero at 2.5 V. The next rung above 75 V is 100 V, with 3,089 parts, and the lowest rung is 4 V. A TDK 1N or 0E code needs a different rating.

Can I use a High Q or Microwave series part for RF work?

Possibly, but the export cannot tell you. It publishes no Q, ESR or self-resonant frequency, and we hold no datasheet for those series. Ask us what Walsin holds on the exact part number, then measure it in your own circuit at your frequency.

Do you hold these 0201 C0G parts in Hong Kong stock?

Not at 1 pF and 50 V. As at 23 September 2026 we list 24 NPO lines at 0201 and 3 pF or less, out of 759 parts, and none is one of the 15 parts at 1.0 pF and 50 V. The ready stock page shows what is held now.

Does the 6 GHz report say TDK or Walsin parts are used?

No. The NYU Abu Dhabi report, dated 24 September 2026, names no component or supplier, and we do not know what e& or its suppliers buy. It is the setting for the question, not evidence about any supply line.
