Power-Conversion Electronics for Laos from Hong Kong: Laos Reported 9.5 Billion US Dollars of Goods Exports in 2025, and a Yageo CC1210KKX7R9BB106 Line Finds 2 Exact Walsin 1210 X7R Rows, Neither on Our Shelf, While the Two Stocked Neighbours Are 0.5 mm Thinner

A Yageo CC1210KKX7R9BB106 line in Laos, a 10 microfarad, 50 V, plus or minus 10 percent X7R in 1210, has exactly 2 Walsin rows on all five electrical fields: 1210B106K500 and SH32B106K500. Neither is on our Hong Kong shelf as at 23 September 2026, and the two stocked 16 V and 25 V neighbours have a 2.00 mm body against Yageo’s 2.5 mm.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) MLCC export export: 24,026 rows, 23,601 distinct part numbers. This post is for a buyer or design engineer at a Lao power-supply, inverter or industrial-controls assembler whose bill of materials names a Yageo part and who wants a Walsin candidate with every difference stated. We read Yageo’s own specification page for the number on 2 November 2026 and compared it with the Walsin export field by field. Every Walsin part number below is real and every count is ours.

What did the Laos trade report say, and what does it not say?

Laos exported about 9.5 billion US dollars of goods in 2025, of which electricity was over 2 billion and electronic equipment 1.6 billion, according to a Seasia article of 29 July 2026. We have not reconciled these figures with Lao statistics, and the article’s own breakdown is not fully consistent, so we cite them as reported and for context only. The report does not mention capacitors or any named company, and we draw no conclusion about demand for any component.

Point What the source says Source date Match / mismatch
Goods exports, 2025 About 9.5 billion US dollars Seasia, 29 July 2026 Match for context only
Electricity and electronic equipment Electricity over 2 billion; electronic equipment 1.6 billion US dollars Seasia, 29 July 2026 Match for context only
Capacitors or other passives Not listed in the article we read Seasia, 29 July 2026 Mismatch with any component-demand claim

What does Yageo’s CC1210KKX7R9BB106 actually specify?

Yageo’s specification page for CC1210KKX7R9BB106 lists 10 microfarad, plus or minus 10 percent, 50 VDC, X7R, EIA 1210 (3225 metric), thickness 2.5 mm plus or minus 0.3, and 500 pieces per reel. The number reads as CC for the chip-capacitor family, 1210 for the case, K for plus or minus 10 percent, X7R, and 9 for 50 V in Yageo’s code table. We hold no Yageo catalogue beyond that page and make no statement about any Yageo part’s status. Source: Yageo specification page for CC1210KKX7R9BB106, fetched 2 November 2026.

Which Walsin rows match it on every field, and what about the shelf?

Two. We parsed all 24,026 rows of the Walsin MLCC export for 1210, X7R, 10 microfarad, plus or minus 10 percent and 50 Vdc and found exactly two part numbers, 1210B106K500 (General Purpose, 2.50 plus or minus 0.30 mm) and SH32B106K500 (Soft Termination, 2.50 plus or minus 0.50 mm). Neither is on the Hong Kong list dated 23 September 2026. Our export carries no pack size for either, so we make no claim against Yageo’s 500-piece reel. The two on-shelf neighbours, 1210B106K160 and 1210B106K250, are 16 V and 25 V rows with a 2.00 plus or minus 0.20 mm body, 0.5 mm thinner than Yageo’s, and a pack of 1,000. Around the two exact rows sit 5 that differ only in tolerance, 10 only in voltage and 1 only in dielectric. The soft-termination row is a different family from a general purpose Yageo CC part, and its thickness band is wider.

What does each neighbour change?

One field each, except thickness. Of the 5 Walsin rows in the table, two are exact on the electrical fields and none is on the shelf at 50 V.

Walsin part Series Match / mismatch against the Yageo line On the 23 September 2026 list Your incumbent
1210B106K500 General Purpose Match on size, value, tolerance, voltage, dielectric, thickness No
SH32B106K500 Soft Termination Match on size, value, tolerance, voltage, dielectric; mismatch on thickness (2.50±0.50 mm against 2.50±0.30 mm) No
1210B106K250 General Purpose Match on size, value, tolerance, dielectric; mismatch on voltage (25Vdc against 50Vdc); thickness (2.00±0.20 mm against 2.50±0.30 mm) Yes
1210B106K160 General Purpose Match on size, value, tolerance, dielectric; mismatch on voltage (16Vdc against 50Vdc); thickness (2.00±0.20 mm against 2.50±0.30 mm) Yes
1210X106K500 General Purpose Match on size, value, tolerance, voltage, thickness; mismatch on dielectric (X5R against X7R) No

The shelf is a dated snapshot, not live stock, and quantities are never guaranteed. A 16 V or 25 V part is below a 50 V line and needs a derating decision of your own, and at 10 microfarad the effective capacitance under DC bias is worth checking on the datasheet curve. X5R is a different dielectric from X7R, so we do not call it like-for-like.

What will we not tell you about Laos?

Anything about Laos customs, duties, certification or procurement rules. We hold no office, entity or stock in Laos; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We state no duty rate, transit time or carrier, and we give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team.

Why buyers in Laos choose Venatech

Lao buyers get a candidate and its differences in one reply. Venatech is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong; confirm that with Walsin. VenaMatch decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and for this line it found two Walsin rows exact on the electrical fields and sixteen near-misses, each with the changed field named, and it flagged that the stocked neighbours are thinner. Small lots are welcome, the service is Hong Kong-based, and the ready-stock list is dated 23 September 2026. Neither exact row is on that list, but two lower-voltage neighbours are, and we say so plainly rather than imply stock for the 50 V parts. We also tell you what we do not hold: 84.2 percent of the 359,135 Walsin part numbers in our exports have no datasheet on file, and we say so instead of guessing. Ask for any of the 28 datasheets we hold (451 pages) and it comes by email.

How Venatech helps

Paste the incumbent number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts and lists Walsin candidates with match and mismatch fields, or upload the list to the BOM checker, up to 500 part numbers. The Hong Kong ready-stock list is a dated snapshot, 23 September 2026, never live-synced. Walsin is the only line we are authorised for; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. We work from Hong Kong, in small lots, and you can request a quote through the site. We offer lot and date-code traceability and a certificate of conformity per shipment on request. We hold neither ISO 9001 nor IATF 16949. Worked example from our exports: paste CC1210KKX7R9BB106 and VenaMatch returns 1210B106K500 first, with the soft-termination row and the tolerance, voltage and dielectric neighbours listed beneath it. The MLCC range lists the families, our post on MLCC DC bias and voltage derating and how to cross-reference an MLCC cover the neighbouring fields. Qualification stays with you.

The short version

One Yageo line, two exact Walsin rows, neither on the 23 September 2026 list. The two stocked neighbours are 16 V and 25 V with a 2.00 mm body against Yageo’s 2.5 mm.

Send us one 1210 capacitor line from your bill of materials and we will return the Walsin parts with every difference stated. Does your board need the full 50 V, or does the rail leave room for a lower-voltage part?

What did Laos report in the source you cite?

Seasia reported on 29 July 2026 that Laos exported about 9.5 billion US dollars of goods in 2025, including over 2 billion of electricity and 1.6 billion of electronic equipment. We have not reconciled the figures. The article does not mention capacitors, and we draw no conclusion about any company.

Which Walsin part crosses to Yageo CC1210KKX7R9BB106?

1210B106K500 and SH32B106K500 match on size, capacitance, tolerance, voltage and dielectric, with thickness bands of 2.50 plus or minus 0.30 and 0.50 mm. Confirm both datasheets and qualify them in your own circuit.

Is the Walsin part on your shelf?

No, neither exact row is on the Hong Kong list dated 23 September 2026. 1210B106K160 and 1210B106K250 are, at 16 V and 25 V. The list is a snapshot, not live. Request a quote through the site to ask what can be sourced.

What if I can accept a different voltage?

Ten Walsin rows match everything except voltage, from 10 V to 100 V. Only the 16 V and 25 V rows are on the shelf, with a 2.00 mm body. A lower voltage needs your own derating check.

What if my line is X5R rather than X7R?

One Walsin X5R row matches the other fields, 1210X106K500. It is not on the shelf. X5R and X7R are different dielectrics, so we do not call them like-for-like; compare both datasheets.

Do you ship to Laos or state its import rules?

We ship from Hong Kong and state no duty, customs, certification or transit information for Laos. We hold no office or stock there and give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team.
