KOA RK73H and Vishay CRCW Cross-Reference for German Automotive Builders: A 562 Ω, 1 Percent, 0603 Line Has 10 Walsin Candidates, None on the Hong Kong Shelf, and 115 of 799 Values From 1 to 10 Ω Have No Part That Reads 100 ppm

A KOA or Vishay resistor cross-reference for German automotive work turns on where each maker puts the grade and the temperature coefficient. A 562 Ω, 1 percent, 0603 line returns 10 Walsin Technology (Walsin) candidates, none on our shelf, and below 10 Ω none of the 115 resistance values has a part reading 100 ppm.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin chip resistor export of 234,815 rows, the two Walsin resistor datasheets we hold, and a stock list dated 23 September 2026. This post is for a design or sourcing engineer at a German automotive electronics maker or Tier-1 supplier who has a KOA RK73H or Vishay CRCW 0603 resistor on the bill of materials. Every Walsin part number is real and every count is ours. Market statements name their source and the day we read it, 23 October 2026.

What does the VDA expect from German car production, and why does a second source matter?

Slightly less output, more of it electric. On 8 December 2025 the VDA forecast, as relayed by mobiFlip, that German passenger car production would fall about 1 percent to 4.11 million vehicles in 2026, with electric vehicle output up 5 percent to about 1.76 million and exports down 1 percent to 3.2 million. The same report gives a forecast of 693,000 new battery-electric registrations in Germany, up 30 percent.

We read one article, mobiflip.de, dated 8 December 2025, and a second report of the same day on moneycab.com that makes the registration forecast conditional on the government’s announced subsidy for private buyers. We draw one conclusion, and it is ours: a production base with flat volume and a changing mix keeps every automotive bill of materials under review, and a resistor with a second source identified is a review that closes faster. Neither article says that.

How do you decode a KOA RK73H or Vishay CRCW 0603 number against a Walsin number?

Field by field, and the temperature coefficient is where the three grammars split. We read KOA’s RK73H ordering page (page 2 revision 01/27/26) and Vishay’s CRCW document 20035 (revision 14-Apr-2026): Vishay writes the coefficient into the number as a letter (K for plus or minus 100 ppm/K, N for 200), while KOA’s ordering string and Walsin’s part number carry none.

The worked line is 562 Ω, plus or minus 1 percent, 0603. Vishay’s own example in the document is a CRCW0603 562R number with F, K and EA characters; KOA’s page shows the form 2B T TD 1003 F for a 1206 part, which we adapt to 1J for 0603 and a resistance code of 5620. We do not claim that any particular KOA or Vishay number is on its maker’s list.

Field KOA RK73H Vishay CRCW Walsin WR06X5620FTL Match / mismatch
Size 1J = 0603 0603 06 Match on footprint; Walsin size codes are not EIA digits (10 is 1210, 12 is 1206)
Resistance 5620, three digits and a multiplier, R below 100 Ω 562R 5620 Match on value, different spelling
Tolerance F = ±1% F = ±1% F Match
Temperature coefficient not in the string; listed per part in the ratings table K = ±100 ppm/K, N = ±200 not in the number; export TCR field Mismatch: Vishay encodes it, KOA and Walsin do not
Termination T = Sn e3 pure tin in the description L = Sn base, lead-free Match in intent
Packaging TD in the page example EA = 5,000 on a 7″ reel T = 7″ reel taping Mismatch: three different reel grammars
Grade no grade character no grade character; the sheet states AEC-Q200 qualified prefix and an eighth character Mismatch: grade sits in a different place at each maker

We did not extract a grade statement from the KOA page we read, so the KOA column is blank on grade for you to fill from KOA’s own automotive series list. Walsin’s MR approval sheet (ASC_MR_V13, March 2024) calls its parts AEC-Q200 compliant, and we use that word, never certified.

Which Walsin parts cross a 562 Ω, 1 percent, 0603 line?

Ten, in three families and six suffixes, and the electrical fields agree on all ten. We filtered the export to 0603, plus or minus 1 percent and 562 Ω: the WR, MR and SR families return 10 distinct part numbers, nine reading 1/10 W and one reading 1/8 W, and none is on our shelf.

Walsin part Series text in the export Grade marker TCR and power fields Match / mismatch with an automotive, ±100 ppm brief Your incumbent
WR06X5620FTL General purpose none ≦±100, 1/10 W Match on electrical fields; mismatch on grade

MR06X5620FTL General purpose (Automotive) M family ≦±100, 1/8 W Mismatch: power field is 1/8 W
MR06X5620FTR General purpose, LF 100ppm (Automotive) M family ≦±100, 1/10 W Match
MR06X5620FTLV General purpose (Automotive) M family, V ≦±100, 1/10 W Match
SR06X5620FTL High grade anti-sulfuration (Automotive) S family ≦±100, 1/10 W Match, adds anti-sulfuration
SR06X5620FTLW High grade anti-sulfuration (Automotive) S family, W ≦±100, 1/10 W Match, adds anti-sulfuration

The grade letters follow Walsin’s current WR sheet as held in our decoder; the WR sheet we actually hold is ASC_WR_V24, September 2016, which we have said before is old. The W letter is not defined in either sheet we hold, so we mark it and no more. The 1/8 W reading on one MR06 number against 1/10 W on the others is a known disagreement between Walsin’s export and its own MR sheet; our post on the MR rated-power gap counts it. Confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.

Which resistance values at 0603 and 1 percent have no part that reads 100 ppm?

All 115 between 1 and 10 Ω. We parsed all 7,876 WR, MR and SR part numbers at 0603 and plus or minus 1 percent, on 799 distinct resistance values: 684 values have at least one part whose TCR field reads up to plus or minus 100, and the other 115, running from 1.0 to 10 Ω, have none. We have not seen this counted at this size and tolerance.

Resistance band Values Part numbers Reading up to ±100 On shelf 23 Sep 2026
1.0 to 10 Ω 115 1,150 0 2
Above 10 Ω to 1 MΩ 570 5,700 5,699 76
Above 1 MΩ to 10 MΩ 114 1,026 228 0

At 5.62 Ω the same ten part numbers exist, and nine of the ten read −200 to +400 while the LF 100ppm WR part reads −300 to +500. If your incumbent at that value is a Vishay part with the K letter, no Walsin TCR field will match it, and a KOA brief needs the figure read from KOA’s ratings table first. Our post on what a TCR figure buys you explains why the coefficient matters in a divider or sense chain. The export, not the sheet, is the source of the 228 readings above 1 MΩ, and the MR sheet prints 200 ppm there.

What does a Hong Kong shelf hold at 0603 and 1 percent?

Seventy-eight lines, every one a plain commercial part. Our stock list as at 23 September 2026 holds 1,125 part numbers; 78 of them are WR, 0603, plus or minus 1 percent, all ending TL, 76 reading up to plus or minus 100 and two (WR06W2R70FTL and WR06X10R0FTL) reading −200 to +400, and none carries a J, V or Z marker or an M or S prefix.

For the 562 Ω brief the nearest stocked values are WR06X5490FTL (549 Ω), WR06X5600FTL (560 Ω) and WR06X6190FTL (619 Ω). Whether a neighbouring value is acceptable is your circuit’s call, and an automotive brief needs the marked part from the list above, which is a factory order. The ready stock list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. The chip resistor range lists the families.

What will we not tell you about automotive resistors or about KOA and Vishay?

Anything about their lifecycle, their lists or your qualification. We hold no affected-part list from KOA or Vishay, we say nothing about any KOA or Vishay number’s availability, and the Walsin resistor documents we hold are two sheets, MR (March 2024) and WR (September 2016), with no PPAP, IMDS or qualification report among our 28 datasheets of 451 pages.

We hold no IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 certificate. We make no claim that any Walsin part is suitable for a vehicle programme. We hold no office, entity or stock in Germany; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We give no legal, customs or conformity advice; confirm with your compliance team. Qualification stays with you.

How Venatech helps

Paste the KOA or Vishay number you already use into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read each Walsin candidate with match and mismatch stated field by field, including the grade filter for commercial or automotive. Upload a whole bill of materials to /bom/, up to 500 part numbers or an Excel or CSV file. The ready-stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026, not live.

Worked example from our own export: a 562 Ω, 1 percent, 0603 brief maps to WR06X5620FTLJ if the BOM needs an AEC-Q200 compliant marker and to MR06X5620FTR on the automotive family; neither is stocked, so it is a factory order, while WR06X5600FTL at 560 Ω is stocked if the value can move. Walsin is the only line we are authorised for; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. We serve from Hong Kong in small lots, with cross-referencing help, and you request a quote through the site. Our address is Unit 207, 2/F, Sun Ling Plaza, 30 On Kui Street, Fanling, N.T., Hong Kong, telephone (852) 2628 4777. The 28 datasheets we hold are sent on request.

The short version

For a German automotive builder, a KOA or Vishay 0603 resistor crosses to ten Walsin numbers at 562 Ω, they agree on size, value and tolerance, and they split on grade, anti-sulfuration and one power reading. Below 10 Ω no part reads 100 ppm, and the shelf of 78 lines holds no marked automotive part. The electrical cross is the easy half, and the grade is the half you have to specify.

Send us one resistor from an automotive bill of materials and we will return the Walsin parts with the differences stated and the grade marker named. When the incumbent’s number carries a temperature coefficient and the replacement’s does not, where do you record the one you need?

Frequently asked questions

How do I cross a KOA RK73H or Vishay CRCW resistor to Walsin?

Decode size, resistance, tolerance, temperature coefficient, termination, packaging and grade first. Walsin carries size, resistance, tolerance, termination and packaging in its number, and the coefficient only in the export. Paste your number into the free cross-reference tool and read each field marked match or mismatch.

Which Walsin parts cross a 562 ohm, 1 percent, 0603 resistor line?

Ten part numbers: five in the WR family, three in MR and two in SR. All read up to plus or minus 100 ppm and nine read one tenth of a watt. WR06X5620FTLJ carries the AEC-Q200 compliant marker. None is on our shelf as at 23 September 2026.

Does Walsin have a 100 ppm chip resistor below 10 ohms at 0603?

Not in the export. At 0603 and plus or minus 1 percent, all 115 resistance values from 1.0 to 10 ohms have parts reading minus 200 to plus 400 or minus 300 to plus 500, and none reads up to plus or minus 100. Check the datasheet for your value.

Is an AEC-Q200 compliant 0603 resistor in stock in Hong Kong?

No. All 78 stocked lines at 0603 and plus or minus 1 percent are plain commercial WR parts ending TL, as at 23 September 2026. An automotive-marked part is a factory order. Walsin calls its parts AEC-Q200 compliant, and we do not upgrade the word.

Do you hold stock in Germany or give compliance advice?

No. We hold no office, entity or stock in Germany; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen. We give no legal, customs or conformity advice. Confirm with your compliance team. We hold no IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 certificate.

What did the VDA forecast for German car production?

A December 2025 forecast relayed by mobiFlip expects production down about 1 percent to 4.11 million vehicles in 2026, electric vehicle output up 5 percent to about 1.76 million and exports down 1 percent. These are the source’s figures, not ours, and the forecast is nearly a year old.
