Yageo CC MLCC Cross-Reference for Brazilian Electronics Makers from Hong Kong: Brazil Imported 23.5 Billion US Dollars of Electrical and Electronic Components in 2025, and Only 3 of 6 Verified Yageo CC Numbers Have a Walsin Twin on the Shelf With the Same Printed Thickness Band

A Yageo CC cross-reference for Brazil needs the thickness band as well as the five electrical fields. We opened six real Yageo CC numbers on Yageo’s own pages and matched them to Walsin’s MLCC export: 4 have a general-purpose twin on our Hong Kong shelf, and only 3 of those also print the same thickness band.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) MLCC export of 24,026 rows, 23,601 of them distinct part numbers. This post is for a purchasing or design engineer at a Brazilian electronics maker whose bill of materials names Yageo CC capacitors and who wants a second source that ships from Hong Kong in small lots. Every part number below is real. Every count is ours. The six Yageo numbers were each opened on Yageo’s own specsheet page on 23 October 2026.

What do Brazil’s component import figures say about demand for a Hong Kong MLCC source?

They say Brazil’s electronics sector buys components abroad at very large scale, and nothing about any single part. Abinee’s 2026 sector overview, which carries 2025 data, prints sector sales of 272.0 billion reais (48.7 billion US dollars), imports of electrical and electronic components of 23.5 billion US dollars, and a sector trade deficit of 40.6 billion US dollars. We read the page on 23 October 2026.

The page carries no publication date, so we cite it as the 2026 edition with 2025 figures. Abinee is the Brazilian electrical and electronics industry association, and its “components” category is its own grouping, not a customs heading.

Our view, labelled as ours: a Brazilian maker that imports capacitors against a board BOM has one working question, which is whether the part on the BOM has a second source that matches field by field. That is the question the rest of this post answers for one maker’s numbering scheme.

How do you read a Yageo CC part number?

As a string of fields, and the voltage is one character, not a number. We opened six CC numbers on Yageo’s pages and read the voltage character against Yageo’s printed rating each time: 6 is 10 V, 7 is 16 V, 8 is 25 V and 9 is 50 V. The size is the literal inch case, and the tolerance is one letter.

Position CC0805KKX5R8BB106 Reads as Walsin counterpart
1 CC Yageo ceramic capacitor Walsin has no prefix for a general-purpose part
2 0805 EIA inch case 0805 Size 0805 in the export
3 K Tolerance ±10% Tolerance K in the Walsin number, +-10% in the export
4 K Packaging letter Mismatch: the export’s Packing and SPQ columns are empty
5 X5R Dielectric Dielectric X5R; Walsin writes X in the number
6 8 25 V Rated voltage 25 Vdc, 250 in the Walsin number
7 BB Two letters we did not confirm Mismatch: no Walsin field
8 106 10 µF Capacitance 10 µF, 106 in the Walsin number

The packaging letter was R on the 0402 and 0603 numbers we opened and K on the 0805 and 1206 numbers. The two letters before the capacitance code were BB on the X5R and X7R numbers and BN on the C0G number, so they carry something that varies by dielectric. We did not find their meaning on the pages we opened, so we do not state it.

Which Walsin parts match six verified Yageo CC numbers?

Each Yageo number has a general-purpose Walsin twin on five fields, and the twins differ on shelf status and thickness. We parsed all 24,026 rows and counted 59 Walsin part numbers on the same four fields (size, dielectric, capacitance, rated voltage) across the six cells, from 3 in the 10 µF cell to 25 in the 10 pF cell.

Yageo CC number Fields Walsin rows on size, dielectric, capacitance, voltage General-purpose Walsin twin On shelf 23 September 2026 Match / mismatch
CC0402KRX7R7BB104 0402, X7R, 100 nF, 16 V, ±10% 11 0402B104K160 Yes Match on five fields; mismatch on packaging letter
CC0603KRX5R6BB105 0603, X5R, 1 µF, 10 V, ±10% 5 0603X105K100 No Match on five fields; mismatch on shelf status
CC0805KKX5R8BB106 0805, X5R, 10 µF, 25 V, ±10% 3 0805X106K250 Yes Match on five fields; mismatch on packaging letter
CC1206KKX7R9BB105 1206, X7R, 1 µF, 50 V, ±10% 10 1206B105K500 Yes Match on five fields; mismatch on thickness band
CC0402JRNPO9BN100 0402, C0G, 10 pF, 50 V, ±5% 25 0402N100J500 Yes Match on five fields; mismatch on packaging letter
CC0805KKX7R8BB225 0805, X7R, 2.2 µF, 25 V, ±10% 5 0805B225K250 No Match on five fields; mismatch on shelf status

Walsin writes 1 µF as 1000nF and 2.2 µF as 2200nF in the export, while 10 µF is 10uF, which is why a text search for 1uF misses the 0603 and 1206 cells. We converted every capacitance spelling to picofarads before counting. The 0805 10 µF 25 V cell is the thinnest, with 3 parts.

The 10 pF cell is the crowded one: 25 parts in six series, from general purpose to microwave. Most are not twins for a general-purpose line. Only the four with a general-purpose prefix, and only one at ±5%, are the plain cross.

Why do only 3 of 6 twins match on both shelf and thickness band?

Because shelf status and thickness band are independent fields, and they overlap on 3 numbers. We read the thickness Yageo prints on each page and compared it with the T column of the Walsin twin: 4 bands are identical in form and 2 are not, and the 2 that differ overlap with the 2 off-shelf twins on only one number.

Yageo CC number Yageo thickness Walsin twin and its T column On shelf Match / mismatch
CC0402KRX7R7BB104 0.5 ± 0.05 mm 0402B104K160, 0.50±0.05 Yes Match on thickness band; no mismatch found
CC0603KRX5R6BB105 0.8 ± 0.1 mm 0603X105K100, 0.80+0.15/-0.10 No Mismatch: plus side is 0.05 mm wider
CC0805KKX5R8BB106 1.25 ± 0.2 mm 0805X106K250, 1.25±0.20 Yes Match on thickness band; no mismatch found
CC1206KKX7R9BB105 1.6 ± 0.2 mm 1206B105K500, 1.60+0.30/-0.10 Yes Mismatch: plus side is 0.1 mm wider, minus side 0.1 mm tighter
CC0402JRNPO9BN100 0.5 ± 0.05 mm 0402N100J500, 0.50±0.05 Yes Match on thickness band; no mismatch found
CC0805KKX7R8BB225 1.25 ± 0.2 mm 0805B225K250, 1.25±0.20 No Match on thickness band; mismatch on shelf status

We have not seen this counted anywhere: only 3 of the 6 numbers (the 0402 X7R, the 0805 X5R and the 0402 C0G) reach the shelf with an identical thickness band. The 1206 twin is stocked but prints a plus-side band 0.1 mm wider than Yageo’s. The 0603 X5R twin has the same band issue and is not stocked. The 0805 2.2 µF twin matches the band and is not stocked.

Does a wider plus side matter? That depends on your placement height and stencil, and only you can say. Walsin’s T column is the export’s value, and the datasheet for the exact part decides. Our post on how to cross-reference an MLCC sets out the thickness check, and crossing an 0603 X7R line from Murata to Walsin shows the same band mismatch for another maker.

What do we hold in stock, and what does our paperwork leave out?

We hold 4 of the 6 twins, and our paperwork has no packaging match. Our stock list as at 23 September 2026 holds 1,125 part numbers, and 0402B104K160, 0805X106K250, 1206B105K500 and 0402N100J500 are among them; the export’s Packing and SPQ columns are empty on all 24,026 rows, so we cannot cross Yageo’s packaging letter from the export.

We hold 28 Walsin datasheets, 451 pages, and 26 of them cover MLCC series. We can send the one covering your part number on request. The stock list is a dated snapshot. It is not live. The ready stock page shows what is held in Hong Kong from that snapshot, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. We make no price, lead-time or stock promise in this post.

Brazilian import, tax and incentive rules are for your compliance team. We give no legal or customs advice.

How can Venatech help a Brazilian electronics maker?

By crossing the Yageo CC number you already use, stating every difference, and telling you what is missing. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong. Walsin is our only authorised line, and the other lines we supply are Stackpole and Viking.

  • Cross-reference. Paste your Yageo, Murata, Samsung or TDK number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read each Walsin candidate with match and mismatch stated field by field.
  • BOM check. Upload a board bill of materials to /bom/ and have each line checked against the same engine.
  • Ready stock. The ready stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026, never live-synced.
  • Service. Hong Kong-based, small lots, cross-referencing help, and a quote requested through the site. Our address is Unit 207, 2/F, Sun Ling Plaza, 30 On Kui Street, Fanling, N.T., Hong Kong, telephone (852) 2628 4777.

A worked example from our own export: CC0805KKX5R8BB106, a 10 µF, 25 V, X5R, ±10%, 0805 part, maps to 0805X106K250, which is stocked and prints the same thickness band. A ±20% line maps to 0805X106M250, a factory order. Our MLCC range lists the families. Confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.

The short version

Brazil’s 2025 component imports were 23.5 billion US dollars, per Abinee’s 2026 overview. Of six real Yageo CC numbers, 4 have a general-purpose Walsin twin on our shelf and only 3 also print the same thickness band. The packaging letter and two further letters have no Walsin field.

Send us the Yageo CC lines from one board and we will return the Walsin candidates with every difference stated. When your 1206 line prints a thickness band 0.1 mm wider on one side, does your stencil or your placement height notice?
