Solar Plant Electronics for Oman From Hong Kong: A 47 pF 50 V 0805 C0G Line Has 17 Walsin Part Numbers in 6 Series, 3 Are Printed Twice at Two Thicknesses, and the Shelf Part Is One of Them

A 47 pF, 50 V, 0805 C0G (NPO) line gives an Oman buyer 17 Walsin part numbers in 6 series, but 20 export rows. Three part numbers are printed twice with two thicknesses, 0.60 and 0.80 mm, and the one on our Hong Kong list, 0805N470J500, is among them. Check the height on your board before you trust the number.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) MLCC parametric export: 24,026 rows, 23,601 distinct part numbers. This post is for a procurement or design engineer at an Oman maker or integrator of solar monitoring, inverter-control or telemetry electronics who needs a second source for a small C0G capacitor in the 0805 case. Every Walsin part number below is real and every count is ours. Where it states a development, it names the source, the date of the page and the day we fetched it, 2 November 2026.

What is Oman planning for solar capacity to 2031?

Six more large plants. SolarQuarter reported on 22 January 2026 that Nama Power and Water Procurement Company plans six solar independent power projects of roughly 1,000 MW each, about 6 GW in all, under provisional names for 2030 and 2031, in support of a target of 30 to 40 percent renewable electricity by 2030. The same article says final capacities and operating dates are still to be confirmed.

That is a procurement plan, not an order for components. It names no part, volume or supplier, and we draw no conclusion about which parts any Omani developer or contractor buys. The dates may change.

Point What the source says Source date Match / mismatch
New solar IPPs Six, about 1,000 MW each, labelled 2030 and 2031 SolarQuarter, 22 January 2026 Match for context only

Which Walsin 0805 parts carry 47 pF at 50 V?

Seventeen part numbers, on twenty rows. We filtered the MLCC export to size 0805, NPO dielectric, 47 pF and 50 Vdc: 20 rows, 17 distinct part numbers, 6 series, and 1 distinct part number, 0805N470J500, on our Hong Kong list as at 23 September 2026. The last column is for your incumbent part.

Walsin part Series as exported Tolerance Thickness as exported Stocked Match / mismatch Your incumbent
0805N470F500 General Purpose plus or minus 1% 0.60 plus or minus 0.10 mm No Match on size, value, voltage
0805N470G500 General Purpose plus or minus 2% 0.60 plus or minus 0.10 mm No Match on size, value, voltage
0805N470J500 General Purpose plus or minus 5% 0.60 and 0.80 plus or minus 0.10 mm, two rows Yes Match on size, value, voltage; mismatch between its own two rows on height
0805N470K500 General Purpose plus or minus 10% 0.60 and 0.80 plus or minus 0.10 mm, two rows No Mismatch between its own two rows on height
MT21N470J500 Automotive, AEC-Q200 (MT) plus or minus 5% 0.60 plus or minus 0.10 mm No Match on size, value, voltage; mismatch on grade
MG21N470J500 Automotive without AEC-Q200 (MG) printed as -0.05 0.60 plus or minus 0.10 mm No Mismatch: tolerance column is not a tolerance; read the letter J
HH21N470J500 High Q and Low ESR (HH) plus or minus 5% 0.80 plus or minus 0.10 mm No Match on size, value, voltage; mismatch on series and height
RF21N470J500 Microwave (RF) plus or minus 5% 0.85 plus or minus 0.10 mm No Match on size, value, voltage; mismatch on series and height
SH21N470J500 Soft termination SH plus or minus 5% 0.60 and 0.80 plus or minus 0.10 mm, two rows No Mismatch between its own two rows on height; termination differs

The other eight distinct part numbers are MT21N470F500, MT21N470G500, MT21N470K500, MG21N470K500, HH21N470F500, HH21N470G500, RF21N470G500 and SH21N470K500. Across every size, 47 pF NPO is offered in 302 part numbers; in 0805 it is offered at 10 rated voltages, from 10 V to 1,000 V.

Which part numbers are printed twice, and why does it matter?

Three, and each prints two different heights. We checked the 20 rows for repeated part numbers: 0805N470J500, 0805N470K500 and SH21N470J500 each appear twice, once at 0.60 plus or minus 0.10 mm and once at 0.80 plus or minus 0.10 mm. Across the whole 0805 NPO case, 47 part numbers are printed more than once, on 98 rows.

A part number that names two bodies cannot be ordered by number alone to a height. At 0.60 mm nominal the part tops out at 0.70 mm; at 0.80 mm nominal it tops out at 0.90 mm, a difference of 0.20 mm on a board with a shield can or a flex-circuit lid. The RF series prints 0.85 plus or minus 0.10 mm, so its upper limit is 0.95 mm. Our post on MLCC reflow profile and mounting covers the board-side questions.

How do the series differ in height at this line?

By up to 0.25 mm nominal. We grouped the 17 part numbers by printed thickness: MT and MG state 0.60 mm, HH states 0.80 mm, RF states 0.85 mm, and General Purpose and SH state both 0.60 and 0.80 mm.

Series Distinct parts Printed thickness, plus or minus 0.10 mm Stocked Match / mismatch
General Purpose 4 0.60 (F, G, J, K) and 0.80 (J, K) 1 Match on 0.60 only for F and G; J and K print both
MT (AEC-Q200) 4 0.60 0 Match to the 0.60 General Purpose rows; grade differs
MG 2 0.60 0 Match on height; tolerance column unusable
HH 3 0.80 0 Mismatch with the 0.60 rows by 0.20 mm
RF 2 0.85 0 Mismatch with the 0.60 rows by 0.25 mm
SH 2 0.60 and 0.80 0 Mismatch in its own rows; termination differs

If your assembly has a height limit, filter on it before you filter on the series name.

What will we not tell you about Oman?

Anything about Omani regulation, customs, utility specifications or product conformity. We hold no office, entity or stock in Oman; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We state no duty, border procedure, transit time or carrier, and we give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team.

We also do not say that any part here suits an inverter, a desert environment or a utility interconnection. The Walsin sheets list operating temperature and test conditions, not field suitability, and we hold neither ISO 9001 nor IATF 16949 for Venatech.

Why do buyers in Oman choose Venatech?

Because we read the rows, including the awkward ones. On this one line we list all 17 part numbers, point out the 3 that print two heights, and mark the 1 that is on our Hong Kong list, as at 23 September 2026. That is the kind of detail a bill-of-materials check should catch before a lot is ordered.

How can Venatech help an Oman solar electronics maker?

Start with the cross-reference. Paste your incumbent number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts and lists Walsin candidates with match and mismatch fields, or upload a list to the BOM checker, up to 500 part numbers. The Hong Kong ready-stock list is a dated snapshot, 23 September 2026, never live-synced. Walsin is the only line we are authorised for; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. Request a quote through the site. Our post on how to cross-reference an MLCC shows the field order.

A worked example from our own export: a 47 pF, plus or minus 5 percent, 50 V, 0805 NPO line maps to 0805N470J500, on our list, with a height to confirm; if the limit is 0.70 mm, the candidate is MT21N470J500 as a grade change, not on it. Our MLCC range lists the families. We hold neither ISO 9001 nor IATF 16949. Qualification stays with you.

The short version

A 47 pF 50 V 0805 NPO line is 17 Walsin part numbers on 20 rows in 6 series. Three part numbers print two heights, 0.60 and 0.80 mm, and the one on our list is among them. HH prints 0.80 and RF 0.85 mm.

Send us one 0805 NPO number from your bill of materials and we will return the Walsin parts with every difference stated. What is the maximum component height on your board, and does your drawing state it?
