MLCC and Chip Resistor Supply for India

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, supplies MLCC and chip
resistors to Indian buyers from a Hong Kong stock position on DDP, DAP or EXW terms. There is
no India office and no India stock. The 23 September 2026 snapshot holds 1,125 distinct part
numbers, weighted toward power supply, lighting and metering.

Can I buy Walsin MLCC and chip resistors in India?

Yes, ordered from Hong Kong and delivered to an Indian address. Venatech Limited is the Hong
Kong headquarters and the group’s offshore trade entity, handling foreign currency
settlement, so an Indian purchase order is placed and settled there. VENATECH PTE LTD in
Singapore is the ASEAN hub where a regional logistics route suits the build better.

What we do not have: an India office, an India entity, or stock held in India. Every part
described below sits in the Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026 or is a catalogue order
line. That snapshot breaks down as 732 MLCC, 132 specialty MLCC, 254 chip resistor, 3 safety
capacitor, 2 inductor, 1 resistor array and 1 other. Stock is a snapshot at a date, reported
as part-number counts, and it moves.

Which lines fit an Indian power supply or LED driver board?

The middle-to-high-voltage MLCC range and the X1/Y2 safety capacitors. Indian mains SMPS,
LED driver and adaptor builds need parts rated well above the 50 V and 100 V general-purpose
band, and the snapshot is unusually deep there: 84 lines at 200–500 Vdc, 68 lines at
630–1,000 Vdc and 31 lines at 1,500–5,000 Vdc.

Dimensions and ratings from the Walsin
Middle and High Voltage MLCC datasheet
and the
X1/Y2 Safety Certified S2 datasheet,
cross-checked against the September 2026 parametric export.

Note the thickness spread in that table. At 630 Vdc the 0805 parts are 1.25 ±0.10 mm while
the 1812 parts are 2.00 ±0.20 mm. On a slim LED driver housed in a tube or a downlight can,
that difference decides the part before the voltage rating does.

What suits an inverter, solar string or smart meter board?

Soft-termination MLCC for the inverter and precision thick film for the meter. A string
inverter or solar optimiser board flexes during assembly and in service, and an Indian smart
meter needs a stable high-value divider that will not drift across a wide ambient range.

The snapshot holds 30 Ag-poly SH soft-termination lines, 14 of them rated 630 Vdc or above:

Board need Walsin part number Specification Match / mismatch
DC-link snubber, flex-tolerant SH31B271K631CT 1206, X7R, 270 pF, ±10%, 630 Vdc, 1.25 ±0.10 mm Match — soft termination at 630 V · mismatch — AEC-Q200 not claimed for SH

Meter divider, high value WF08H8203BTL 0805, 820 kΩ, ±0.1%, TCR ≤ ±100 ppm/°C, 1/8 W Match · mismatch — 1/8 W limits the voltage across it
Mains-referenced divider top leg Catalogue, not snapshot WF12N107 JTL, 1206, 100 MΩ, ±5%, UL safety certified Mismatch — order line, and the part number carries an embedded space

Two of Walsin’s chip resistor high-voltage series carry UL safety certification — 1,502 parts
in the general series and 1,502 in the automotive series, out of 20,244 high-voltage chip
resistors across 0603, 0805, 1206, 2010 and 2512. That is the family to look at for a
mains-referenced meter divider rather than the general-purpose range.

What is available for two-wheeler and automotive electronics?

Automotive surge-rated thick film resistors, in the snapshot today. India’s two-wheeler and
small-vehicle electronics volumes need parts that survive load dump and ignition transients
on a cost-sensitive BOM, and the snapshot carries four automotive surge lines plus one
automotive high-power line.

Part number Walsin series Specification Match / mismatch for a two-wheeler ECU
MF12E1R00FTL Thick Film Triple Power Surge Chip Resistor (Automotive) 1206, 1.00 Ω, ±1%, TCR ≤ ±100 ppm/°C, 3/4 W Match — surge-rated, automotive series, 3/4 W at 1206
MF12E2200FTL Thick Film Triple Power Surge Chip Resistor (Automotive) 1206, 220 Ω, ±1%, 3/4 W Match — same series, mid-range value
MF12E3300FTL Thick Film Triple Power Surge Chip Resistor (Automotive) 1206, 330 Ω, ±1%, 3/4 W Match
MF12E3902FTL Thick Film Triple Power Surge Chip Resistor (Automotive) 1206, 39 kΩ, ±1%, 3/4 W Match
MF12P3303FTL Thick Film High Power Chip Resistor (Automotive) 1206, 330 kΩ, ±1%, 1/2 W Match on power · mismatch — high power series, not surge-rated

On the capacitor side there is a gap worth stating plainly: the 23 September 2026 snapshot
holds no parts from Walsin’s AEC-Q200 automotive MT series, its MG series or its AEC-Q200
soft-termination ST series. Those are catalogue order lines, 2,176, 788 and 118 parts
respectively, not snapshot lines. An automotive capacitor requirement is an order, not a pull
from stock.

Unique to Venatech’s data. Walsin’s own chip resistor export names one of its
automotive surge families “Thick Flim Power Surge Chip Resistor (Automotive)” — 3,030
parts under a misspelling of “Film”. A string filter on “Film” silently drops all 3,030 of
them, and they are exactly the parts an Indian two-wheeler or small-appliance BOM reaches
for. We hold them and search them under both spellings.

What fits consumer electronics and IoT volume?

The 0402 and 0603 general-purpose MLCC block, the HH high-Q microwave capacitors and the RF
series. Of the 864 ceramic capacitor lines in the snapshot, 128 carry an 0402 case-size prefix
and 144 an 0603 — where a consumer or IoT BOM spends most of its decoupling budget.

Real snapshot lines: 0402B104K500CT (0402, X7R, 100 nF, ±10%, 50 Vdc, 0.50 ±0.05 mm),
0603B104K500CT (0603, X7R, 100 nF, ±10%, 50 Vdc), 0603X106K100CT (0603, X5R, 10 µF, ±10%,
10 Vdc, 0.80 ±0.20 mm), HH15N130J500CT (0402, NPO, 13 pF, ±5%, 50 Vdc, high-Q) and
RF03N200F500CT (0201, NPO, 20 pF, ±1%, 50 Vdc, microwave series).

The HH and RF series matter for wireless modules specifically. There are 22 HH lines and 66 RF
lines in the snapshot, covering 0201 through 0805 — the matching-network sizes.

How do the parts reach India from Hong Kong?

On DDP, DAP or EXW, chosen per account and per destination. DDP puts import clearance and
duties on the seller. DAP delivers to your address with import clearance yours. EXW hands the
goods over in Hong Kong for your forwarder to collect. All three carry the same authorised
channel, sealed original manufacturer packaging and lot traceability.

For an Indian buyer with an IEC, a customs broker and a recoverable GST position, DAP is
usually the term that keeps that position intact. For a first order, or for a buyer without
import handling, DDP is the shorter route. For a buyer already consolidating out of Hong
Kong, EXW gives control of the routing.

Documentation is the same in all three cases: sealed original manufacturer packaging, full lot
and date code traceability, and a Certificate of Conformity on request. 683 of the 1,125
snapshot lines carry a recorded date code.

What will you not tell me about Indian import?

Anything we have not verified. Venatech has published no figures for Indian customs duty
rates, basic customs duty or IGST rates, HSN classification, AIDC or social welfare
surcharge, customs clearance timelines, freight cost or transit time. We will not estimate
them, and you should not accept an estimate from any supplier without documentation.

What we can state: the incoterm defines who arranges and who carries the cost, and a written
quotation will name the term, the destination and the documents travelling with the goods.

Which Walsin part numbers will not paste into an Indian BOM?

Two groups. Every MLCC needs the CT packaging suffix added — 865 of the snapshot’s order
codes carry it and Walsin’s parametric export omits it. And a large block of the
general-purpose chip resistors carry an embedded space in Walsin’s own export that has to be
removed before the code is orderable or searchable.

Unique to Venatech’s data. 67 of the 255 resistor lines in the 23 September 2026
snapshot match Walsin’s own chip resistor export only after an embedded space is removed —
WR04X101 JTL in the export against the orderable WR04X101JTL on the purchase order.
63 of those 67 are ±5% parts and the remaining 4 are 0 Ω jumpers, spread across
0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 and 2512. Across Walsin’s whole chip resistor set, 39,576 of 234,815
part numbers contain an embedded space. The affected parts are precisely the high-volume
±5% workhorse values an Indian consumer, lighting or two-wheeler BOM is built from.

Snapshot order code As written in Walsin’s export Match / mismatch — does the export code work on a PO?
WR04X101JTL WR04X101 JTL Mismatch — embedded space must be removed
WR06X103JTL WR06X103 JTL Mismatch — embedded space must be removed
WR06X000PTL WR06X000 PTL Mismatch — space, and a 0 Ω jumper code
WR04X1003FTL WR04X1003FTL Match — ±1% codes are unaffected
0603B104K500CT 0603B104K500 Mismatch — CT suffix must be added

Send the BOM as a file rather than retyping part numbers. Both faults are invisible on
screen and both stop a purchase order.

FAQ

Do you have an office or stock in India?

No. Venatech Limited is headquartered in Hong Kong, with group entities in Shenzhen, Singapore and a Jiangmen factory in Guangdong, and a Chengdu location in preparation. Indian orders are placed on the Hong Kong entity and shipped from the Hong Kong position on DDP, DAP or EXW terms.

Which incoterm is best for an Indian buyer?

It depends on your import position. With an IEC, a broker and a recoverable GST position, DAP usually keeps that position intact while the seller still carries the freight. Without import handling, DDP is the shorter route. With your own Hong Kong consolidation, EXW gives routing control.

What duty and GST will I pay importing passive components into India?

We do not publish Indian duty rates, IGST rates or HSN classifications, and we will not estimate them. Those figures depend on classification, current notifications and your own status as an importer. Confirm them with a licensed Indian customs broker or your trade compliance team before you budget.

Which Walsin MLCC series suit an Indian LED driver?

The Middle to High Voltage range, 200 V to 4 kV, and the X1/Y2 safety certified S2 series for the line-to-earth position. The 23 September 2026 snapshot carries 84 lines at 200–500 Vdc and 68 at 630–1,000 Vdc. Check thickness before voltage: 0805 parts at 630 V are 1.25 mm, 1812 parts are 2.00 mm.

Do you stock AEC-Q200 automotive MLCC for two-wheeler builds?

Not in the 23 September 2026 snapshot. Walsin’s AEC-Q200 automotive MT series, the MG series and the AEC-Q200 soft-termination ST series are catalogue order lines at 2,176, 788 and 118 parts. The snapshot does carry automotive-series surge and high-power chip resistors, such as MF12E2200FTL.

What is available for a smart meter voltage divider?

Precision thick film in the snapshot, such as WF12H5762BTL at 57.6 kΩ ±0.1% with TCR within ±100 ppm/°C, and the high-voltage chip resistor family as an order line, including two series carrying UL safety certification at 1,502 parts each across 0603 to 2512.

Why will some Walsin part numbers not paste into my BOM?

Two reasons. MLCC order codes need a CT packaging suffix that the catalogue code omits. And 39,576 of Walsin’s 234,815 chip resistor part numbers carry an embedded space in the export — 67 of the 255 resistor lines in our snapshot are affected, almost all of them ±5% values. Send the BOM as a file.

Can you support qualification for an Indian automotive programme?

We can support part selection, cross-reference, AEC-Q200 documentation retrieval, FAE assistance and the transition to mass production. We cannot assert a qualification status we have not seen in writing. Ask for the series datasheet and the Certificate of Conformity together and confirm the scope before submission.

Next step

Send the BOM as a file with the target application named — driver, inverter, meter,
two-wheeler ECU or consumer board. Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong
Kong, will return the Walsin lines against it with voltage rating, thickness, tolerance,
series qualification and the orderable code form stated per row, priced on the incoterm you
name. Confirm Indian duty, GST and classification with your own broker.
