Industrial Automation Electronics for Czechia: 2,298 Industrial Robots Installed in 2025, and Walsin’s 25 ppm Plus-or-Minus 0.1 Percent Chip Resistors Start at 470 Ω, Leaving 65 of 96 E96 Values Between 100 and 976 Ω Without One

Industrial automation electronics for Czechia hit a floor in the precision resistor range. We parsed Walsin’s 234,401 distinct chip resistor part numbers: the plus-or-minus 0.1 percent, 25 ppm parts start at 470 Ω, so 65 of the 96 E96 values between 100 and 976 Ω have none. Our Hong Kong shelf holds three 0.1 percent lines, all 100 ppm.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) chip resistor export of 234,815 rows, 234,401 of them distinct part numbers, and a stock list dated 23 September 2026. This post is for a design engineer or buyer at a Czech maker of PLC input modules, drives, sensors or machine controllers who needs a second source for a precision resistor in an analogue front end. Every part number is real and every count is ours. Market statements name their source and the day we read it, 23 October 2026.

What do the Czech robot and industry numbers tell a component buyer?

That automation demand is real and the base is still low. BusinessInfo.cz reported on 25 September 2026, citing International Federation of Robotics data, that Czechia installed 2,298 industrial robots in 2025, the seventh-largest market in the EU, while EU installations fell 11 percent to 60,500. We read two pages on 23 October 2026.

The same report gives Czech robot density of 216 per 10,000 manufacturing employees in 2024, up from 119 in 2017, 94 percent of the EU average of 231, and quotes a consultant who says growth is partly a low starting base and is driven by labour shortages and costs. Trading Economics reported on 6 August 2026, from the Czech Statistical Office, that June 2026 industrial production rose 4.0 percent on the year, manufacturing 2.6 percent and computer, electronic and optical products 16.7 percent.

Our conclusion, labelled as ours: a base that is still growing in robots and drives keeps adding sensor and analogue inputs, and each one carries a precision resistor. The sources do not say that. We have no relationship with any Czech manufacturer.

Where does Walsin’s 25 ppm precision chip resistor range begin?

At 470 Ω, and nothing below it. We parsed all 234,815 rows of the chip resistor export: 1,029 parts are plus or minus 0.1 percent at 25 ppm per kelvin, all in the High Precision TC25 series, and the lowest value among them is 470 Ω. Of the 96 E96 values from 100 to 976 Ω, only 31 have a 25 ppm part at 0.1 percent; 65 do not.

The range is regular above the floor. The 1,029 parts are 343 distinct values in each of three cases, 0603, 0805 and 1206, and every E96 value from 1 kΩ to 97.6 kΩ is present. We have not seen this counted anywhere: the 25 ppm range does not start at the bottom of a decade, it starts at 470 Ω, so a front-end resistor of 100 to 464 Ω can reach 50 ppm but not 25. At 50 ppm all 96 values between 100 and 976 Ω exist at plus or minus 0.1 percent.

Value band E96 values in band With a 0.1%, 25 ppm part With a 0.1%, 50 ppm part Match / mismatch (a 25 ppm brief)
100 to 464 Ω 65 0 65 Mismatch: best is 50 ppm
475 to 976 Ω 31 31 31 Match
1 kΩ to 97.6 kΩ 192 192 192 Match

We read the temperature coefficient from the TCR field of the export. The thin film resistor export is separate and not counted here, and it may serve low values at tight coefficients; we leave that to the reader’s own check. We hold no datasheet for the High Precision series: of the 28 PDFs we hold, 2 are resistor sheets, the WR general purpose and the MR automotive, so these fields come from the export alone and the parts are among the 84.2 percent of our part numbers with no datasheet on file.

Which Walsin parts cross a 332 Ω, 0.1 percent, 25 ppm resistor?

None match all five fields, and the nearest differ in coefficient or value. Say your analogue input module has a 332 Ω, plus or minus 0.1 percent, 25 ppm, 0805, one-eighth watt resistor in a gain or reference network.

Walsin part Series Case Value, tolerance, TCR Power On shelf 23 Sep 2026 Match / mismatch with the brief Your incumbent
WF08K3320BTL High Precision TC50 0805 332 Ω, ±0.1%, ≤50 ppm 1/8 W No Mismatch: coefficient is 50 ppm
WF08H3320BTL High Precision TC100 0805 332 Ω, ±0.1%, ≤100 ppm 1/8 W No Mismatch: coefficient is 100 ppm
SF08H3320BTL High Precision Anti-Sulfuration 0805 332 Ω, ±0.1%, ≤100 ppm 1/8 W No Mismatch: coefficient and series
WF08J4700BTL High Precision TC25 0805 470 Ω, ±0.1%, ≤25 ppm 1/8 W No Mismatch: value is 470 Ω
WF12H1202BTL High Precision TC100 1206 12 kΩ, ±0.1%, ≤100 ppm 1/4 W Yes Mismatch: value, case and coefficient

If the brief really needs 25 ppm at 332 Ω, the options in this export are a change of value, a pair of resistors, or the thin film range; each is your engineer’s call and none is something we recommend from here. Our post on the current-sense resistor TCR shows how thin the 25 ppm field is elsewhere in the range. Confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.

What does a Hong Kong shelf hold at plus or minus 0.1 percent?

Three lines, all 100 ppm. Our stock list as at 23 September 2026 holds 1,125 part numbers, 254 of them chip resistor lines; 183 match a row in the export, and 3 of those 183 are plus or minus 0.1 percent: WF12H1202BTL at 12 kΩ, WF12H5762BTL at 57.6 kΩ and WF08H8203BTL at 820 kΩ.

The other 71 chip resistor lines have no row in the files we hold, which we report rather than guess at. A tight-tolerance, 25 ppm resistor is therefore a factory order from this shelf, and a quote is requested through the site. Stock moves; the ready stock list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. The chip resistor range lists the families, and our post on Walsin passive components in Hong Kong stock covers the shelf.

What will we not tell you about industrial automation electronics?

Anything about functional safety, input accuracy or controller qualification. None of the 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, contains the words automation, PLC, robot or servo, and we hold no ISO 9001 certificate. We make no claim that any part meets an input-module accuracy class or an industrial standard.

We hold no office, entity or stock in Czechia. Our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We give no legal, customs or conformity advice; confirm with your compliance team. We offer lot and date-code traceability, a certificate of conformity per shipment on request and original sealed Walsin packaging. Qualification stays with you.

How can Venatech help a Czech automation maker?

By crossing the resistor you have already chosen and telling you which field differs. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong. Walsin is our only authorised line, and the other lines we supply are Stackpole and Viking.

  • Cross-reference. Paste your incumbent number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read each Walsin candidate with match and mismatch stated field by field.
  • BOM check. Upload an input-module bill of materials to /bom/, up to 500 part numbers or an Excel or CSV file, and have each line checked against the same engine.
  • Ready stock. The ready stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026.
  • Service. Hong Kong-based, small lots, cross-referencing help, and a quote requested through the site. Our address is Unit 207, 2/F, Sun Ling Plaza, 30 On Kui Street, Fanling, N.T., Hong Kong, telephone (852) 2628 4777.

A worked example from our own export: a 470 Ω, plus or minus 0.1 percent, 25 ppm resistor on an 0805 footprint maps to WF08J4700BTL, not stocked, so it is a factory order, while a 332 Ω brief at 25 ppm has no Walsin chip match. The 28 datasheets we hold are sent on request, and none of them covers this series.

The short version

For a Czech automation maker, the robot base is growing and the precision resistor range has a floor. We parsed 234,401 chip resistor part numbers: the plus-or-minus 0.1 percent, 25 ppm parts start at 470 Ω, 65 of 96 E96 values from 100 to 976 Ω have none, and the shelf holds three 0.1 percent lines, all 100 ppm. The electrical cross is the easy half, and the missing datasheet is the half you have to chase.

Send us one precision resistor from an input-module board and we will return the Walsin parts with the differences stated. When your gain network sits below 470 Ω and wants 25 ppm, do you change the value, add a part, or move to thin film?
