Yageo RC Reel Counts for Taiwan: Industrial Production Hit a Record 145.97 in August 2026, and Our Shelf Matches Yageo’s 7-Inch Reel Count at 5 of 6 Sizes, with 0201 at 15,000 Against 10,000

Yageo RC reel counts for a Taiwan line feeder cross to Walsin in the stock list, not the export. Of 249 shelf resistor lines that join the export, 245 state no reel count there. Our shelf quantity equals Yageo’s 7-inch count at 5 of 6 sizes; 0201 differs, 15,000 against 10,000.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) chip resistor exports (234,815 rows) and a Hong Kong stock list dated 23 September 2026. This post is for a Taiwan buyer or process engineer who has a Yageo RC line fed from a 7-inch reel and wants to know whether a Walsin line loads the same way. Every Walsin part number is real. We fetched every item on 23 October 2026.

What did Taiwan’s August 2026 production report touch for a component buyer?

A record month. Focus Taiwan, citing the Ministry of Economic Affairs, reported on 23 September 2026 that August industrial production hit a record index of 145.97, up 23.47 percent on a year earlier, with electronic components up 21.68 percent.

The report names no passive component, no reel format and no company, and we draw no conclusion about any part or lead time from it. We have no relationship with the ministry.

Where does Yageo print the reel count, and where does Walsin?

Yageo prints it in a table; Walsin mostly does not print it in the export. Yageo’s RC datasheet, read on 23 October 2026, has a packaging table by size: 7-inch paper reel 10,000 at 0201 and 0402, 5,000 at 0603, 0805 and 1206, and 4,000 on a 7-inch embossed reel at 2512.

Walsin’s export has a Packaging column, but we counted it: of the 249 stocked resistor lines that join the export, 245 read only “7 inch reel taping” and 4 add a count. Our earlier post on the Walsin packaging column counted the same gap across all rows. For a stocked line the count sits in the stock list instead.

At which sizes does the Walsin shelf match Yageo’s 7-inch reel count?

Five of six. We joined all 254 resistor lines in our 23 September 2026 stock list to the export: 249 join. Their shelf quantity per reel is 10,000 at 0402 (80 lines), 5,000 at 0603 (100), 0805 (30) and 1206 (33), and 4,000 at 2512 (2): all equal to Yageo’s 7-inch count. At 0201 the 4 lines carry 15,000.

Size Yageo 7-inch reel count Shelf lines Walsin shelf quantity per reel Example shelf line Match / mismatch
0201 10,000 4 15,000 WR02X1002FAL Match on size, value, tolerance; mismatch on reel count
0402 10,000 80 10,000 WR04W1504FTL Match on size and reel count; check value, tolerance, power
0603 5,000 100 5,000 WR06X1000FTL Match on size and reel count; check value, tolerance, power
0805 5,000 30 5,000 WR08W3R30FTL Match on size and reel count; check value, tolerance, power
1206 5,000 33 5,000 MF12E2200FTL Match on size and reel count; check value, tolerance, power
2512 4,000 (embossed) 2 4,000 WR25X3301FTL Match on size and reel count; check value, tolerance, power
Total 6 sizes 249 5 of 6 sizes agree

The table compares reel counts only. A matching reel count says nothing about value, tolerance, power or temperature coefficient; the free cross-reference tool compares those fields. We have not seen a stock list joined to an incumbent’s packaging table anywhere.

Why is 0201 the one size that differs?

Because the packaging character in the Walsin part number picks the reel. At 0201 the same value, tolerance and power appears in the export on 14 part numbers for each of the four stocked values, and the character before the final letter sets the reel: A is 15,000, T is 10,000, D is 20,000 on a 7-inch reel.

Take the stocked 10 kilohm line WR02X1002FAL: its twin WR02X1002FTL shows the same size, value, tolerance and temperature coefficient on a 7-inch reel of 10,000. All four stocked 0201 values have a T twin in the export: WR02X1002FTL, WR02X1241FTL, WR02X2400FTL and WR02X4700FTL. None of the four twins is on the shelf.

Walsin part Reel as exported Shelf Match / mismatch against a Yageo 7-inch, 10,000 line
WR02X1002FAL 7-inch, 15,000 Yes Match on value, tolerance, power; mismatch on reel count
WR02X1002FTL 7-inch, 10,000 No Match on value, tolerance, power and reel count; not on shelf
WR02X1002FDL 7-inch, 20,000 No Match on value; mismatch: 20,000 per reel
WR02X1241FTL 7-inch, 10,000 No Match on value, tolerance, power and reel count; not on shelf

If your feeder or kit planning needs 10,000 per reel, the shelf line is the wrong reel and the T twin is the right one. If 15,000 suits you, it is the other way round. We state no price, lead time or stock guarantee, and the shelf is a dated snapshot, not live. The ready-stock list shows it.

What will we not tell you about Taiwan?

Anything about Taiwanese customs, trade or qualification rules. We hold no office, entity or stock in Taiwan; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We state no duty, customs procedure or transit time, and give no legal or compliance advice; confirm with your compliance team.

We hold no list of any maker’s affected parts and say nothing about the availability of any Yageo number. We hold neither ISO 9001 nor IATF 16949.

How Venatech helps

Start with the free tool. Paste an RC number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts and lists Walsin candidates with match and mismatch fields, or upload up to 500 lines to the BOM checker. The ready-stock list is a dated snapshot, 23 September 2026, never live-synced.

Walsin is the only line we are authorised for; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. We work from Hong Kong, in small lots, with cross-referencing help, and you can request a quote through the site. Lot and date-code traceability and a certificate of conformity per shipment are on request. Our post on how to check Walsin stock and reserve it explains the route, and the chip resistor range lists the groups. Qualification stays with you: confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.

The short version

Reel count is a purchasing field the export hides. Our 249 joined shelf lines match Yageo’s 7-inch count at 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 and 2512, and miss it at 0201, where the shelf holds 15,000 and Yageo’s table says 10,000. The T-character twin of each stocked 0201 value carries 10,000, and none is on the shelf.

Send us one RC line and its reel count and we will return the Walsin candidates with every difference stated. If your line feeds from a 10,000 reel, which would you rather change: the feeder plan or the part number?

How do I match a Yageo RC reel count to Walsin?

Take the Yageo 7-inch count for your size from its datasheet, then check the Walsin packaging character in the part number and the shelf quantity per reel. Our shelf agrees at 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 and 2512, and differs at 0201. Confirm against both documents.

Does the Walsin export state the reel count?

Rarely. Of 249 stocked resistor lines that join the export, 245 read only “7 inch reel taping” and 4 add a count. For a stocked line the count is in our stock list, a dated snapshot as at 23 September 2026.

Why does the 0201 shelf line differ from Yageo?

The stocked 0201 lines are packed at 15,000 per 7-inch reel; Yageo’s table gives 10,000. The T-character twin of each stocked value, such as WR02X1002FTL, is listed at 10,000 but is not on the shelf. Reel count is a feeder and planning field, not an electrical one.

Does a matching reel count make the parts interchangeable?

No. It says nothing about value, tolerance, power or temperature coefficient. We do not call a part interchangeable; we show where it differs. Use the cross-reference tool for the electrical fields, then confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.

Does this say anything about Yageo supply?

No. We hold no affected-part list for any manufacturer and say nothing about the availability of any Yageo number. The Taiwan production report we cite names no component or company. Confirm availability with your own distributor.

Do you have a presence in Taiwan?

No. Our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We serve Taiwanese buyers from Hong Kong in small lots. We give no customs or compliance advice; confirm with your compliance team.
