Algeria solar power electronics from Hong Kong need a cross that names every difference. We resolved a Yageo RC1206FR-07100KL, a 100 kilohm, 1%, 1206 chip resistor, and found 27 Walsin Technology (Walsin) rows matching its value, tolerance, TCR and power. 15 carry Automotive in the series name, and only 1, WR12X1003FTL, is on our shelf.
Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin chip resistor export of 234,815 rows, 28 Walsin datasheets (451 pages) and a stock list dated 23 September 2026. This post is for a design or procurement engineer at an Algerian solar installer, inverter assembler or power-electronics maker who has a Yageo 100 kilohm resistor on a bill of materials and wants Walsin candidates in small lots from Hong Kong. Every Walsin part number is real, every count is ours, and the news statement names its source and the day we fetched it, 2 November 2026.
What did the April 2026 report say about Algeria’s solar build-out?
AlgeriaTech reported on 7 April 2026 that nine photovoltaic plants totalling 1,480 MW were due for completion by August 2026, which would lift installed solar capacity from 436 MW to roughly four times that, with Sonelgaz and other developers named for individual sites.
The article, which we fetched on 2 November 2026, notes that the plant capacities it lists do not add up to its own 1,480 MW headline, and it treats its dates as expectations, not confirmed commissioning dates. It names no electronic component, supplier or bill of materials, so we draw no link between its numbers and any resistor. Our view, labelled as ours: a country adding hundreds of megawatts of PV needs string monitoring, protection and inverter boards, and each carries high-value divider resistors that someone must source. We have no relationship with any Algerian developer, utility or installer.
What does a Yageo RC1206FR-07100KL say, field by field?
Yageo’s own specification page for RC1206FR-07100KL, resolved on 2 November 2026, shows a 100 kilohm, plus or minus 1% chip resistor in 1206 (3216 metric), rated 0.25 W at 70 degrees, plus or minus 100 ppm per degree, with 200 V continuous working voltage, 400 V maximum overvoltage and 500 V dielectric withstanding voltage.

The string RC1206FR-07100KL is not in the Walsin export and is not a Walsin number.
Which Walsin rows answer a 100 kilohm, 1%, 1206 line?
We parsed the 37,566 Walsin 1206 chip resistor rows and found 85 at 100 kilohm, of which 27 are at plus or minus 1%; all 27 carry a TCR at or below 100 ppm and a rated power of 1/4 W or more, and they sit in 5 series groups: 10 general purpose, 8 high power, 5 high voltage, 3 high precision and 1 anti-surge. We have not seen this counted anywhere.
| Walsin part | Series group as exported | TCR, power | On shelf 23 Sep 2026 | Match / mismatch against the Yageo line |
|---|---|---|---|---|
WR12X1003FTL |
Thick film general purpose | ≦±100, 1/4 W | Yes | Match on value, tolerance, TCR, power and case |
MR12X1003FTL |
General purpose, series text says Automotive | ≦±100, 1/4 W | No | Match on the electrical fields; mismatch: an automotive-labelled family, not asked for |
WF12K1003FTL |
High precision thick film | ≦±50, 1/4 W | No | Mismatch: TCR tighter than asked; a different series group |
WF12P1003FTL |
Thick film high power | ≦±100, 1/2 W | No | Mismatch: power double the incumbent’s |
WF12V1003FTL |
Thick film high voltage | ≦±100, 1/4 W | No | Mismatch: series group; working voltage not exported |
MF12E1003FTL |
Thick film anti-surge | ≦±100, 3/4 W | No | Mismatch: power three times; a surge-rated part, automotive-labelled |
Series text, not the part number, carries the automotive label: 15 of the 27 rows have the word Automotive in the Series field, and 12 do not. Our post on Walsin automotive chip resistors, MR, SR and the AEC-Q200 split explains why we never read it as a qualification statement, and our chip resistor range lists the families.
Is the voltage limit set by the cap or by the power rating at 100 kilohm?
By the power rating: the WR sheet defines the continuous working voltage as the lower of its voltage cap and the square root of rated power times resistance, and at 1/4 W and 100 kilohm that root is about 158 V, below the 200 V cap.
That is our arithmetic applied to the sheet’s formula, not Walsin’s wording, and Yageo’s page prints its own 200 V figure as the maximum continuous voltage at full rated power. For a divider that sees a high DC bus, the practical consequence is that a single 100 kilohm 1206 part should not be asked to hold more than the lower number, and series chains are how designers share the stress. The WF12V1003FTL and WF12N1003FTL rows sit in a high-voltage group, but the export carries no voltage column for resistors and we hold no datasheet for that group, so we cannot state their limit.
What does the Hong Kong shelf hold for this line?
As at 23 September 2026 our list holds 1,125 distinct part numbers, 254 of them chip resistors, and 1 of the 27 candidates, WR12X1003FTL, is among them; the other 26 are factory orders.
The ready stock list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. Our post on Walsin passive components in Hong Kong stock explains how to read it. Shelf position changes, so treat the snapshot as a starting question for the quote, not as a promise of availability.
What will we not tell you about Algerian solar projects?
We searched the text of all 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, for Algeria, Africa, desert and solar, and found 0 matches. We therefore say nothing about site conditions or project requirements in Algeria, and we give no legal, customs or conformity advice; confirm with your compliance team.
We hold no office, entity or stock in Algeria; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We hold 2 chip resistor datasheets, WR and MR, and none for the high-power, high-voltage, high-precision or anti-surge families, so every figure for those rows comes from the export alone. The WR sheet is ten years old.
Why do buyers in Algeria choose Venatech?
Because the cross is honest, small-lot friendly and made in Hong Kong. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor, and Walsin is the one line we call authorised; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply.
- A tool that shows the mismatches. Paste the Yageo number into VenaMatch, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts. Here you see 27 candidates in 5 groups, each with its power and TCR stated, not one confident guess.
- Range you can count. Walsin’s 1206 chip resistor export holds 37,566 rows, and 85 of them are at 100 kilohm. An Algerian buyer sizing a divider can pick between plain, high-precision, high-power and high-voltage versions of the same value.
- A Hong Kong shelf and small lots. A dated ready-stock list, snapshot 23 September 2026, not live, and small lots welcome for prototypes and pilot runs.
- Honest about gaps. We say the WR sheet is from September 2016 and that we hold no datasheet for 4 of the 5 groups. That honesty is part of the service.
How can Venatech help a Algerian buyer cross a Yageo part?
By showing the differences instead of hiding them, in small lots. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong.
- Cross-reference. Paste your Yageo number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read the Walsin candidates with each field marked match or mismatch.
- BOM check. Upload the solar or inverter board’s bill of materials to /bom/, up to 500 part numbers or an Excel or CSV file.
- Ready stock. The ready-stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026, not live.
- Service. Hong Kong-based, small lots, help with cross-referencing by hand when the tool returns no clean candidate, and a quote requested through the site.
Worked example from our own export: a Yageo 100 kilohm, 1%, 1206, 0.25 W line maps to WR12X1003FTL, which is on our shelf, and to 26 other rows if you accept a different group, power or suffix. Confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.
The short version
For an Algerian buyer, a Yageo RC1206FR-07100KL line finds 27 Walsin 1206 rows at 100 kilohm and 1%, in 5 series groups, 15 of them labelled automotive in the series text, and 1 of them on the Hong Kong shelf.
Send us one divider resistor from an Algerian inverter or monitoring board and we will return the Walsin candidates with every difference stated and the stock position named. If your 100 kilohm part sees a high DC bus, is the limit you design to the cap or the power?

Frequently asked questions
What did AlgeriaTech report on Algeria’s solar plants in April 2026?
On 7 April 2026 it reported nine photovoltaic plants totalling 1,480 MW due by August 2026, lifting installed capacity from 436 MW. The article’s own plant list does not reconcile with that total. Confirm current status with official sources.
What is a Yageo RC1206FR-07100KL?
Yageo’s specification page, resolved on 2 November 2026, shows a 100 kilohm, plus or minus 1 percent, 1206 chip resistor rated 0.25 W with 100 ppm TCR and 200 V working voltage. It is not a Walsin number. Confirm against Yageo’s own datasheet.
How many Walsin rows match 100 kilohm, 1 percent and 1206?
We counted 27 in the 234,815-row chip resistor export, all at 100 ppm or better and 1/4 W or more, in 5 series groups. A further 58 rows at 100 kilohm and 1206 carry other tolerances.
Does the Automotive label mean AEC-Q200 certified?
No. 15 of the 27 rows carry the word Automotive in the series text, but Walsin’s sheets say compliant, not certified, and the label is not a qualification report. Ask for the report for the exact part number.
Is any candidate on the Hong Kong shelf?
Yes, one. As at 23 September 2026 WR12X1003FTL is on our stock list; the other 26 candidates are not and would be quoted through the site. The list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced.
Can Venatech advise on Algerian import rules or project conditions?
No. None of the 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, mentions Algeria, and we give no legal, customs or conformity advice. We hold no office, entity or stock in Algeria. Qualification stays with you.
