Bahrain network and cloud hardware from Hong Kong start with an MLCC cross that shows every gap. We resolved a Yageo CC0805KKX7R8BB225, a 2.2 microfarad, 10%, 25 V X7R 0805 capacitor, and found 5 Walsin Technology (Walsin) rows rated 25 V or more. None of the 42 Walsin rows at 2.2 microfarad in 0805 is on our shelf.
Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin MLCC export of 23,601 distinct part numbers, 28 Walsin datasheets (451 pages) and a stock list dated 23 September 2026. This post is for a design or procurement engineer at a Bahraini network-equipment, telecom or cloud-hardware maker or integrator who has a Yageo 2.2 microfarad 0805 capacitor on a bill of materials and wants Walsin candidates in small lots from Hong Kong. Every Walsin part number is real, every count is ours, and the news statement names its source and the day we fetched it, 2 November 2026.
What did the Bahrain reporting say about the country’s ICT standing?
AGBI reported, in an article whose address places it in October 2025, that Bahrain ranked 5th globally and 3rd in the Arab world in the International Telecommunication Union’s 2024 ICT Development Index, that Amazon Web Services launched its Bahrain region in 2019 after the 2017 Cloud First Policy, and that STC Bahrain is building a data-centre park of more than 55,000 square metres.
The page, which we fetched on 2 November 2026, shows no publication date of its own, so we date it only by its address. It names no capacitor, supplier or bill of materials, so we draw no link between its statements and any MLCC. Our view, labelled as ours: the more network and cloud capacity a small country carries, the more boards pass through its integrators and repair shops, and each board has dozens of 2.2 microfarad class decoupling parts. We have no relationship with any Bahraini operator.
What does a Yageo CC0805KKX7R8BB225 say, field by field?
Yageo’s own specification page for CC0805KKX7R8BB225, resolved on 2 November 2026, shows a 2.2 microfarad, plus or minus 10% capacitor in X7R, rated 25 VDC, in 0805 (2012 metric), with a thickness of 1.25 mm, plus or minus 0.2 mm.

The string CC0805KKX7R8BB225 is not in the Walsin export and is not a Walsin number. The Walsin sheet for the general purpose series is WTC_MLCC_General_Purpose.pdf, which we hold.
Which Walsin rows answer a 2.2 microfarad, X7R, 10%, 25 V, 0805 line?
We parsed the 4,780 Walsin 0805 MLCC rows and found 42 at 2.2 microfarad, 19 of them X7R, 11 of those at plus or minus 10%, and 5 of those 11 rated 25 V or more: 0805B225K250, 0805B225K350, 0805B225K500, SH21B225K250 and TT21B225K250. We have not seen this counted anywhere.
| Walsin part | Series as exported | Thickness, voltage | On shelf 23 Sep 2026 | Match / mismatch against the Yageo line |
|---|---|---|---|---|
0805B225K250 |
General purpose | 1.25±0.20 mm, 25 V | No | Match on all six fields above |
0805B225K350 |
General purpose | 1.25±0.20 mm, 35 V | No | Match on the electrical fields and thickness; mismatch: voltage higher than asked |
0805B225K500 |
General purpose | 1.25±0.20 mm, 50 V | No | Match on the electrical fields and thickness; mismatch: voltage double |
SH21B225K250 |
Soft termination SH (Ag-poly) | 1.25±0.30 mm, 25 V | No | Match on the electrical fields; mismatch: thickness band 0.3 against 0.2; soft-terminated |
TT21B225K250 |
Low profile TT | 0.85±0.10 mm, 25 V | No | Match on the electrical fields; mismatch: 0.4 mm thinner than the Yageo part |
The TT row is the one to look at if your board has a height limit: it is 0.4 mm below the Yageo part’s 1.25 mm, which can help in a slim chassis and is a mismatch to a footprint designed for the thicker body. Our post on how to cross-reference an MLCC gives the method, and our MLCC range lists the series.
Is 35 V or 50 V a reasonable trade against 25 V?
Often yes on voltage, because 35 V and 50 V rows keep the same 2.2 microfarad, 10% and 1.25 mm fields, and a higher rating usually keeps more of its capacitance under DC bias; it is a mismatch only if your bill of materials or approval locks the rating.
We will not tell you a part is interchangeable. We will show you where it differs: here the difference is a rating, not a size. Capacitance loss under DC bias is real in X7R ceramics, and our post on MLCC DC bias and voltage derating explains it. We hold no measured bias curve for these three rows, so we cannot quantify the gain. An AVL entry that names a 25 V part may need a change request to name a 35 V one.
What does the Hong Kong shelf hold for this line?
As at 23 September 2026 our list holds 1,125 distinct part numbers, 149 of them in the 0805 MLCC export, and none of the 42 Walsin rows at 2.2 microfarad in 0805 is among them, so all 5 candidates are factory orders.
We measured that by joining the export to the list on part number. The ready stock list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. Our post on Walsin passive components in Hong Kong stock explains how to read it. A line off the shelf is a factory order, requested through the site, and a 2.2 microfarad 0805 line is one where asking early matters.
What will we not tell you about Bahraini networks?
We searched the text of all 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, for Bahrain, Gulf, data centre and server, and found 0 matches. We therefore say nothing about telecom reliability, cooling or Gulf site conditions, and we give no legal, customs or conformity advice; confirm with your compliance team.
We hold no office, entity or stock in Bahrain; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. The export carries no termination, lifecycle or bias-curve field for these parts, and qualification stays with you.
Why do buyers in Bahrain choose Venatech?
Because the cross is honest, small-lot friendly and made in Hong Kong. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor, and Walsin is the one line we call authorised; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply.
- A tool that shows the mismatches. Paste the Yageo number into VenaMatch, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts. Here you see 5 candidates, including a low-profile one, each with its differences stated.
- Range you can count. Walsin’s MLCC export lists 23,601 distinct part numbers, 4,780 of them in 0805, and 42 of those at 2.2 microfarad. A Bahraini buyer sees general purpose, soft-termination and low-profile families at one value.
- A Hong Kong shelf and small lots. A dated ready-stock list, snapshot 23 September 2026, not live, and small lots welcome for prototypes, repair stock and pilot runs.
- Honest about gaps. We tell you that nothing at this value is on the shelf, and that we hold no bias curve. That honesty is part of the service.
How can Venatech help a Bahraini buyer cross a Yageo part?
By showing the differences instead of hiding them, in small lots. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong.
- Cross-reference. Paste your Yageo number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read the Walsin candidates with each field marked match or mismatch.
- BOM check. Upload the board’s bill of materials to /bom/, up to 500 part numbers or an Excel or CSV file.
- Ready stock. The ready-stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026, not live.
- Service. Hong Kong-based, small lots, help with cross-referencing by hand when the tool returns no clean candidate, and a quote requested through the site.
Worked example from our own export: a Yageo 2.2 microfarad, 10%, X7R, 25 V, 0805 line maps to 0805B225K250 on all six fields we can compare, and to TT21B225K250 if you want 0.4 mm of height back. Confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.
The short version
For a Bahraini buyer, a Yageo CC0805KKX7R8BB225 line finds 5 Walsin 0805 rows at 2.2 microfarad, X7R, 10% and 25 V or more, one matching on every field and one 0.4 mm thinner, and none of the 42 rows at that value is on the Hong Kong shelf.
Send us one capacitor from a Bahraini network board and we will return the Walsin candidates with every difference stated and the stock position named. If a thinner part would let you drop a shield, is the low-profile row worth a layout change?

Frequently asked questions
What did AGBI report about Bahrain’s ICT ranking?
An article whose address dates it to October 2025 reported that Bahrain ranked 5th globally and 3rd in the Arab world in the ITU’s 2024 ICT Development Index. It names no component. Confirm figures with the ITU.
What is a Yageo CC0805KKX7R8BB225?
Yageo’s specification page, resolved on 2 November 2026, shows a 2.2 microfarad, plus or minus 10 percent, X7R, 25 VDC capacitor in 0805 with 1.25 mm thickness. It is not a Walsin number. Confirm against Yageo’s own datasheet.
How many Walsin rows match 2.2 microfarad, X7R, 10 percent, 25 V and 0805?
We counted 5 rated 25 V or more in the 23,601-part MLCC export: three general purpose rows at 25 V, 35 V and 50 V, one soft-termination row and one low-profile row 0.85 mm thick.
Is any candidate on the Hong Kong shelf?
No. As at 23 September 2026 none of the 42 Walsin rows at 2.2 microfarad in 0805 is on our stock list, so each candidate is a quote requested through the site. The list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced.
Can a higher-voltage part replace a 25 V part?
It depends on your approvals and operating conditions. The electrical and size fields match on the 35 V and 50 V rows, but an approved vendor list may name the rating. We show the difference and leave the decision to you.
Can Venatech advise on Bahraini import rules?
No. None of the 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, mentions Bahrain, and we give no legal, customs or conformity advice. We hold no office, entity or stock in Bahrain. Qualification stays with you.
