How many Walsin TT capacitors have a general purpose twin?
52 of 56, and 11 of those twins are on our shelf. We parsed Walsin’s own MLCC export (00_ALL_MLCC_parts_combined.xlsx) and took the 56 rows of the TT low-profile series: 26 at 0805, 21 at 1206, 4 at 0402, 3 at 1210 and 2 at 0603; 51 are X5R and 5 are X7R. Thickness is 0.85 mm at 45 rows, 0.30 mm at 4, 1.15 mm at 3, 0.50 mm at 2 and 2.50 mm at 1.
For each TT row we looked for the same size, dielectric, capacitance, tolerance and voltage in the general purpose series. Of the 11 such twins on the Hong Kong ready-stock list as at 23 September 2026, 10 are taller than the TT part. No TT row is on that list.

Which worked part numbers show the height gap?
Take a 1206 X5R at 47 microfarad, 6.3 V. TT31X476M6R3 is 0.85 mm thick; its shelf twin 1206X476M6R3 is 1.60 mm with a plus 0.30 minus 0.10 tolerance. Thickness comes from the thickness column of 00_ALL_MLCC_parts_combined.xlsx and the stock position is as at 23 September 2026. Everything else in the catalogue fields matches. Only the 1210 pair agrees on height. A thin-board designer who orders by capacitance alone gets a part up to 0.75 mm taller.
What does a footwear designer need to confirm about height?
The stack, not the catalogue line. Walsin’s thickness figures are nominal values with tolerances, and a shoe module often has less than a millimetre to spare. Ask us for the datasheet of the exact series and check the tolerance on the thickness, not just the nominal.
