Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) disc capacitor parametric export: 929 part numbers, with no Walsin datasheet for any of them. This post is for a buyer or design engineer at a Mauritian power-supply, lighting or appliance maker whose bill of materials carries a high-voltage disc capacitor and who wants Walsin candidates with every difference stated. Every Walsin part number below is real and every count is ours. Where it states a development, it names the source and the day we fetched it (2 November 2026).
What did Statistics Mauritius report that touches a manufacturer?
Moderate growth, low unemployment and a wide trade gap. The Statistics Mauritius homepage, fetched on 2 November 2026, lists consumer price inflation of 5.7 percent for September 2026, unemployment of 5.5 percent in the second quarter of 2026, a forecast 3.0 percent GDP growth for 2026 and a visible trade balance of minus 28.4 percent of GDP in 2025. It names monthly trade (August 2026) and quarterly national accounts (second quarter 2026) among its recent releases.
The page does not break trade down by product, so it says nothing about capacitors or any Mauritian company, and we draw no conclusion about either. We have no relationship with the agency.

What is in Walsin’s Low Dissipation disc series?
A 47-row corner with one dielectric. We read it from the export file Walsin_DiscCap_ALL.xlsx and checked every row. Walsin’s disc export holds 29 rows in the series named “Low Disspation” (prefix LR) and 18 in “Low Disspation_lead free” (prefix LN), every one Y5R, plus or minus 10 percent, at 1,000 or 2,000 Vdc, from 100 pF to 3,300 pF. The series name carries a typo (“Disspation”) in the export.
Y5R appears in no other Walsin disc series: all 47 Y5R rows of the 929 sit here. The 1,000 V rows run from 100 to 3,300 pF (14 LR rows, 10 LN rows) and the 2,000 V rows from 100 to 2,200 pF (15 LR rows, 8 LN rows). The export fills no lead-spacing, packing or SPQ field for any of them, and we hold no datasheet for the disc line.

Which worked part numbers show the body-code difference?
Four pairs show it. At 470 pF and 1,000 V the standard part is LR102471K050 and the lead-free part is LN102471K070, same capacitance, voltage, dielectric and tolerance, two steps apart in the final code. At 1,000 pF and 2,000 V the pair is LR202102K090 and LN202102K110. The last column is for your incumbent part.

The tempting assumption, that the lead-free part is a drop-in for the standard one, fails on 12 of 17 pairs if the code is a body size.
