Cameroon Power Supply Electronics from Hong Kong: A Yageo RC2512FK-07100RL 100 Ohm Line Finds 15 Walsin 2512 Rows at 1%, 8 Are Rated 2 W or 3 W Against Its 1 W, and None of Our 28 Datasheets Names the 2512 Case

Cameroon power supply electronics from Hong Kong need a power-resistor cross that states the gaps. We resolved a Yageo RC2512FK-07100RL, a 100 ohm, 1%, 1 W, 2512 chip resistor, and found 15 Walsin Technology (Walsin) rows that meet its value, tolerance, TCR and power. 8 are rated 2 W or 3 W, and none is on our shelf.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin chip resistor export of 234,815 rows, 28 Walsin datasheets (451 pages) and a stock list dated 23 September 2026. This post is for a design or procurement engineer at a Cameroonian power-supply, inverter or stabiliser maker or importer who has a Yageo 100 ohm 2512 resistor on a bill of materials and wants Walsin candidates in small lots from Hong Kong. Every Walsin part number is real, every count is ours, and the news statement names its source and the day we fetched it, 2 November 2026.

What did the 2026 reports say about Cameroon’s grid and its outages?

Business in Cameroon reported on 7 June 2026 that the 420 MW Nachtigal hydropower plant had injected 3,613,785 MWh into the national grid since it became fully operational in May 2025, while recurring outages persisted in several cities; on 7 September 2026 it reported national capacity up from 1,516 MW in 2020 to an estimated 2,280 MW at end-2025, against an interim target of 3,500 MW.

The June article, which we fetched on 2 November 2026, also quotes the operator on an availability rate above 94% and warns that a build-up of unpaid bills could affect its operations. Neither article names an electronic component, so we draw no link between the numbers and any resistor. Our view, labelled as ours: where mains is uneven, a power supply sees surges and brown-outs, and the input stage is where 1 W resistors earn their keep. We have no relationship with any Cameroonian utility or operator.

What does a Yageo RC2512FK-07100RL say, field by field?

Yageo’s own specification page for RC2512FK-07100RL, resolved on 2 November 2026, shows a 100 ohm, plus or minus 1% chip resistor in 2512 (6332 metric), rated 1 W at 70 degrees, plus or minus 100 ppm per degree, with 200 V continuous working voltage and 500 V maximum overvoltage.

Field Yageo RC2512FK-07100RL (page value) Walsin WR25X1000FTL (export) Match / mismatch
Case 2512 (6332 metric) 2512(6432) Match, and note the metric code differs by one digit
Value 100 ohm 1000 in the code, 100Ω in the export Match
Tolerance plus or minus 1% F in the code, ±1% Match
TCR plus or minus 100 ppm ≦±100 Match
Power 1 W at 70 degrees 1W Match
Working voltage 200 V no voltage column for resistors in the export Open: no datasheet for 2512
Overvoltage 500 V not in the export Open

The string RC2512FK-07100RL is not in the Walsin export and is not a Walsin number. The export writes the metric code as 6432 where Yageo’s page says 6332; treat the imperial 2512 as the shared name and check the land pattern against both drawings.

Which Walsin rows answer a 100 ohm, 1%, 2512 line?

We parsed the 22,154 Walsin 2512 chip resistor rows and found 47 at 100 ohm, of which 17 are at plus or minus 1%; 15 meet the TCR of 100 ppm and 1 W, in 4 series groups: 7 high power, 6 general purpose, 1 high voltage and 1 anti-surge, and 8 of the 15 are rated 2 W or 3 W. We have not seen this counted anywhere.

Walsin part Series group as exported TCR, power On shelf 23 Sep 2026 Match / mismatch against the Yageo line
WR25X1000FTL Thick film general purpose ≦±100, 1 W No Match on value, tolerance, TCR, power and case
MR25X1000FTL General purpose, series text says Automotive ≦±100, 1 W No Match on the electrical fields; mismatch: an automotive-labelled family
WF25V1000FTL Thick film high voltage ≦±100, 1 W No Match on the electrical fields; mismatch: series group, voltage not exported
WF25P1000FTL Thick film high power ≦±100, 2 W No Mismatch: power double the incumbent’s
WF25A1000FZL Thick film high power ≦±100, 3 W No Mismatch: power three times; a different termination letter
MF25E1000FTL Thick film anti-surge ≦±100, 2 W No Mismatch: power double; a surge-rated, automotive-labelled part
WK25V1000FTL Thick film high voltage ≦±200, 1 W No Mismatch: TCR 200 ppm, double the incumbent’s

The table lists 6 of the 15 candidates and one near-miss; the other 9 candidates are suffix and prefix variants inside the same groups, and WK25V1000FTLJ joins WK25V1000FTL as a second 200 ppm near-miss. Our post on chip resistor power rating by case size explains how rating steps with the case, and our chip resistor range lists the families.

What do the Walsin datasheets we hold say about the 2512 case?

Nothing: not one of the 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, names the 2512 case, because the WR and MR sheets stop at 1206 and 1210 and the MLCC sheets do not apply.

The export has 22,154 rows in 2512, and the 15 candidates above rest on it alone. That means we cannot quote a working voltage, an overload voltage, a derating curve or a pulse rating for any of them from a Walsin document. One piece of arithmetic is ours and not Walsin’s: at 100 ohm and 1 W, the dissipation limit corresponds to about 10 V across the part, far below any voltage cap, so for this line the power rating, not the voltage, is the number that matters.

What does the Hong Kong shelf hold for this line?

As at 23 September 2026 our list holds 1,125 distinct part numbers, 254 of them chip resistors, and 2 of those are in 2512, WR25X3301FTL and WR25X330 JTL; none of the 15 candidates for this line is among them.

Those two sit at 3.3 kilohm and 33 ohm, so they are not candidates for a 100 ohm line. The ready stock list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. Our post on Walsin passive components in Hong Kong stock explains how to read it. A line off the shelf is a factory order, requested through the site.

What will we not tell you about Cameroonian conditions?

We searched the text of all 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, for Cameroon, Africa and tropic, and found 0 matches. We therefore say nothing about mains quality, climate or standards in Cameroon, and we give no legal, customs or conformity advice; confirm with your compliance team.

We hold no office, entity or stock in Cameroon; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We hold no datasheet for any of the 15 candidate rows, so every figure here comes from the export alone, and the export carries no working voltage, no thickness and no pulse rating for resistors.

Why do buyers in Cameroon choose Venatech?

Because the cross is honest, small-lot friendly and made in Hong Kong. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor, and Walsin is the one line we call authorised; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply.

  • A tool that shows the mismatches. Paste the Yageo number into VenaMatch, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts. Here you see 15 candidates in 4 groups, each with its power and TCR stated, and the 2 TCR near-misses named.
  • Range you can count. Walsin’s 2512 export holds 22,154 rows, and 47 of them are at 100 ohm. A Cameroonian buyer can choose the same footprint at 1 W, 2 W or 3 W and decide how much headroom the supply needs.
  • A Hong Kong shelf and small lots. A dated ready-stock list, snapshot 23 September 2026, not live, and small lots welcome for prototypes and pilot runs.
  • Honest about gaps. We say plainly that none of our 28 datasheets covers 2512. That honesty is part of the service.

How can Venatech help a Cameroonian buyer cross a Yageo part?

By showing the differences instead of hiding them, in small lots. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong.

  • Cross-reference. Paste your Yageo number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read the Walsin candidates with each field marked match or mismatch.
  • BOM check. Upload the power-supply board’s bill of materials to /bom/, up to 500 part numbers or an Excel or CSV file.
  • Ready stock. The ready-stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026, not live.
  • Service. Hong Kong-based, small lots, help with cross-referencing by hand when the tool returns no clean candidate, and a quote requested through the site.

Worked example from our own export: a Yageo 100 ohm, 1%, 1 W, 2512 line maps to WR25X1000FTL on every field the export carries, and to WF25P1000FTL if you want 2 W of headroom. Confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.

The short version

For a Cameroonian buyer, a Yageo RC2512FK-07100RL line finds 15 Walsin 2512 rows at 100 ohm and 1% that meet its TCR and power, 8 of them rated 2 W or 3 W, none on the Hong Kong shelf, and no Walsin datasheet in our hands that covers the case.

Send us one power resistor from a Cameroonian supply or stabiliser bill of materials and we will return the Walsin candidates with every difference stated and the stock position named. If your input stage sees surges, is 2 W of headroom in the same footprint what you want, or a surge-rated part?

Frequently asked questions

What did Business in Cameroon report on Nachtigal in June 2026?

On 7 June 2026 it reported 3,613,785 MWh injected since full operation in May 2025 from the 420 MW plant, with recurring outages persisting in several cities. It names no component. Confirm figures with the operator.

What is a Yageo RC2512FK-07100RL?

Yageo’s specification page, resolved on 2 November 2026, shows a 100 ohm, plus or minus 1 percent, 2512 chip resistor rated 1 W with 100 ppm TCR and 200 V working voltage. It is not a Walsin number. Confirm against Yageo’s own datasheet.

How many Walsin rows match 100 ohm, 1 percent and 2512?

We counted 17 at that value and tolerance in the 234,815-row chip resistor export. 15 also meet 100 ppm and 1 W or more, in 4 series groups, and 8 of those are rated 2 W or 3 W. The other 2 list 200 ppm.

Does Walsin have a datasheet for 2512 resistors?

Not in the set we hold. None of the 28 datasheets, 451 pages, names the 2512 case, so we cannot quote working voltage or pulse rating from a Walsin document. Ask Walsin for the sheet for your exact part number.

Is any candidate on the Hong Kong shelf?

No. As at 23 September 2026 none of the 15 candidates is on our stock list, so each is a quote requested through the site. The list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced.

Can Venatech advise on Cameroonian import rules or grid conditions?

No. None of the 28 Walsin datasheets we hold mentions Cameroon, and we give no legal, customs or conformity advice. We hold no office, entity or stock in Cameroon. Qualification stays with you.
