Handset and Wearable Electronics for Nepal from Hong Kong: Nepal Imported 48.69 Billion Rupees of Smartphones in FY2025/26, and a Yageo CC0402KRX5R6BB105 Line Finds 1 Exact Walsin 0402 X5R Row, on Our Shelf at the Same 10,000-Piece Reel

A Yageo CC0402KRX5R6BB105 line in Nepal, a 1 microfarad, 10 V, plus or minus 10 percent X5R in 0402, has exactly one Walsin row on all five electrical fields: 0402X105K100. It carries the same 0.50 plus or minus 0.05 mm body and the same 10,000-piece reel, and it is on our Hong Kong shelf as at 23 September 2026.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) MLCC export: 24,026 rows, 23,601 distinct part numbers. This post is for a buyer or design engineer at a Nepali handset-repair house, wearable maker or small assembler whose bill of materials names a Yageo CC capacitor and who wants a Walsin candidate with every difference stated. We read Yageo’s own specification page for the number on 2 November 2026 and compared it with the Walsin export field by field. Every Walsin part number below is real and every count is ours.

What did Nepal’s customs department report that touches a handset builder?

Nepal’s phone imports are large and rising. The Department of Customs figures reported by HimalPress on 23 July 2026 put fiscal year 2025/26 foreign trade at 2,411.66 billion Nepalese rupees, up 15.88 percent, with smartphone imports at 48.69 billion rupees. Total imports were 2,096.37 billion rupees and exports 315.29 billion.

The report does not say who assembles, repairs or resells those handsets, or whether any passive component moved with them, and we draw no conclusion about any Nepali company. We have no relationship with the Department of Customs.

What does Yageo’s CC0402KRX5R6BB105 actually specify?

Five electrical fields, one body height and one reel. Yageo’s specification page for CC0402KRX5R6BB105 lists 1 microfarad, plus or minus 10 percent, 10 VDC, X5R from minus 55 to plus 85 degrees C, EIA 0402 (1005 metric) at 1.0 by 0.5 mm, thickness 0.5 mm plus or minus 0.05, and 10,000 pieces per 178 mm paper reel. The number reads as CC for the chip-capacitor family, 0402 for the case, K for plus or minus 10 percent, X5R, and 6 for 10 V in Yageo’s code table.

We hold no Yageo catalogue beyond that page and make no statement about any Yageo part’s status. Source: Yageo specification page for CC0402KRX5R6BB105, fetched 2 November 2026.

Which Walsin row matches it on every field?

One. We parsed all 24,026 rows of the Walsin MLCC export for 0402, X5R, 1,000 nF, plus or minus 10 percent and 10 Vdc and found exactly one part number, 0402X105K100, in the General Purpose series, with the same 0.50 plus or minus 0.05 mm thickness. It is on the Hong Kong list dated 23 September 2026 with a pack size of 10,000, the same count Yageo prints per reel. We have not seen this reel match counted for this line anywhere.

The neighbours are real but each changes a field: 2 rows differ only in tolerance, 4 differ only in voltage and 1 differs only in dielectric. That is 7 near-misses around 1 exact row, and it is why a pasted list needs the match and mismatch columns rather than a yes.

What does each neighbour change?

One field each, except the low-profile part. Of the 8 Walsin rows around this Yageo line, 0402X105K100 matches every field, 0402X105K160 and 0402X105K6R3 are the two neighbours on the shelf, and TT15X105K6R3 is a TT low-profile part with a 0.30 mm body.

0402X105K6R3 General Purpose Match on size, value, tolerance, dielectric, thickness; mismatch on voltage (6.3Vdc against 10Vdc) Yes
0402X105K250 General Purpose Match on size, value, tolerance, dielectric, thickness; mismatch on voltage (25Vdc against 10Vdc) No
TT15X105K6R3 Low Profile Match on size, value, tolerance, dielectric; mismatch on voltage (6.3Vdc against 10Vdc); thickness (0.30±0.03 mm against 0.50±0.05 mm) No
0402S105K100 General Purpose Match on size, value, tolerance, voltage, thickness; mismatch on dielectric (X6S against X5R) No

The shelf is a dated snapshot, not live stock, and quantities are never guaranteed. Voltage neighbours are higher or lower, not equal: a 6.3 V part is below a 10 V line and needs a derating decision of your own.

What will we not tell you about Nepal?

Anything about Nepali customs, duties, certification or procurement rules. We hold no office, entity or stock in Nepal; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We state no duty rate, transit time or carrier, and we give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team.

Why buyers in Nepal choose Venatech

Nepali buyers get a candidate and its differences in one reply. Venatech is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong; confirm that with Walsin. VenaMatch decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and for this line it found one exact Walsin row and seven near-misses, each with the changed field named. Small lots are welcome, the service is Hong Kong-based, and the ready-stock list is dated 23 September 2026. The exact match here is on that list with the same 10,000-piece pack as Yageo’s reel, which is a fact you can check on both documents. We also tell you what we do not hold: 84.2 percent of the 359,135 Walsin part numbers in our exports have no datasheet on file, and we say so instead of guessing. Ask for any of the 28 datasheets we hold (451 pages) and it comes by email.

How Venatech helps

Paste the incumbent number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts and lists Walsin candidates with match and mismatch fields, or upload the list to the BOM checker, up to 500 part numbers. The Hong Kong ready-stock list is a dated snapshot, 23 September 2026, never live-synced. Walsin is the only line we are authorised for; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. We work from Hong Kong, in small lots, and you can request a quote through the site. We offer lot and date-code traceability and a certificate of conformity per shipment on request. We hold neither ISO 9001 nor IATF 16949. Worked example from our exports: paste CC0402KRX5R6BB105 and VenaMatch returns 0402X105K100 as the exact candidate with the 16 V, 6.3 V, 25 V, tolerance and dielectric neighbours listed beneath it. The MLCC range lists the families, our post on NP0 against X7R against X5R and how to cross-reference an MLCC cover the neighbouring fields. Qualification stays with you.

The short version

One Yageo line, one exact Walsin row. 0402X105K100 matches CC0402KRX5R6BB105 on size, value, tolerance, voltage, dielectric, body height and reel count, and it is on the 23 September 2026 list. The seven neighbours each change one field.

Send us one handset-board capacitor line from your bill of materials and we will return the Walsin parts with every difference stated. Is your 1 microfarad really needed at 10 V, or would the 6.3 V neighbour on the shelf do?

What did Nepal report about smartphone imports?

The Department of Customs figures, reported by HimalPress on 23 July 2026, put FY2025/26 smartphone imports at 48.69 billion Nepalese rupees within total imports of 2,096.37 billion. The page does not mention capacitors, and we draw no conclusion about any company.

Which Walsin part crosses to Yageo CC0402KRX5R6BB105?

0402X105K100 matches on size, capacitance, tolerance, voltage, dielectric and 0.50 plus or minus 0.05 mm thickness. It is the only exact row among 24,026 in the Walsin export. Confirm both datasheets and qualify it in your own circuit.

Is the Walsin part on your shelf?

Yes, 0402X105K100 is on the Hong Kong list dated 23 September 2026 with a pack size of 10,000, the same as Yageo’s reel count. The list is a snapshot, not live, and quantities are never guaranteed. Request a quote through the site.

What if I can accept a different voltage?

Four Walsin rows match everything except voltage: 6.3 V, 16 V and 25 V general purpose parts and a 6.3 V low-profile part. The 16 V and 6.3 V rows are on the shelf. A lower voltage needs your own derating check.

What if my line is X6S rather than X5R?

One Walsin X6S row matches the other fields, 0402S105K100. It is not on the shelf. X5R and X6S are different dielectrics, so we do not call them like-for-like; compare both datasheets for temperature behaviour.
