Mobile Network Site Electronics for Papua New Guinea from Hong Kong: A 10 Nanohenry, 0201 Inductor Line Finds 14 Walsin Rows but Only 6 Distinct Data Sets, and the Whole 0201 Nanohenry Export Is 888 Rows with 430, None on Our Shelf

Mobile network site electronics for Papua New Guinea use small RF inductors in radio matching. We counted the Walsin Technology (Walsin) 0201 export at 10 nanohenry: 14 rows in 3 series, but only 6 distinct data sets, and across all 888 0201 nanohenry rows only 430 distinct data sets. None is on our Hong Kong shelf.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin inductor export of 5,410 real rows (the 5,411th is a test row we exclude) and a ready-stock list dated 23 September 2026. This post is for a design or procurement engineer at a Papua New Guinean network contractor, radio-equipment workshop or telecoms supplier who has a matching inductor on a bill of materials and wants a second source in small lots from Hong Kong. Every Walsin part number is real, every count is ours, and the news statement names its source and the day we fetched it, 2 November 2026.

What does Vodafone PNG’s tower rollout mean for an electronics buyer?

It means a network that is still being built out, mostly in places that are hard to reach. Business Advantage PNG reported on 31 March 2026 that Vodafone PNG had built 800 4G-plus sites across 22 provinces and was targeting 1,200 within 18 months, aiming to lift mobile penetration from 46% to roughly 70% to 80% within 18 to 24 months.

The article, summarising a chief executive interview, adds that Vodafone carries 55% of the country’s data with about 2 million subscribers, that tower sharing with Digicel is preferred but the rollout will continue regardless, and that low-earth-orbit satellite options are being explored for hard-to-reach areas. It does not mention solar power, off-grid sites or any component or supplier, so we draw no link between it and any part number. Our view, labelled as ours: a build-out of that size depends on radio boards that are repaired and spared at the edge. We have no relationship with Vodafone PNG, Digicel or any operator.

Which Walsin rows answer a 10 nanohenry, 0201 line?

Fourteen rows in three series, behind only six data sets. We parsed all 888 Walsin 0201 inductor rows listed in nanohenries and found 14 at 10 nH: 6 in WLCM, 6 in MCI and 2 in MCI-TM, at plus or minus 3% and plus or minus 5%, in three Q tiers of 5, 11 and 14. We have not seen this line counted anywhere.

The WLCM and MCI rows repeat each other: for every WLCM row there is an MCI row with the same tolerance, Q, SRF, resistance, current and thickness, and the 2 MCI-TM rows repeat the Q 14 tier. Behind the 14 rows sit 3 Q tiers times 2 tolerances, which is 6 data sets. Our post on chip inductor second source, 3,146 of 5,410 parts publish identical data gives the whole-export version, and inductors for RF matching networks explains why Q matters.

How do the candidates compare field by field?

Q, tolerance and notation separate them. The table sets six rows against a 10 nH, plus or minus 5%, Q 11 or better, 0201 line.

Walsin part Series, thickness Tolerance, Q min, SRF as exported On shelf 23 Sep 2026 Match / mismatch against a 10 nH, 5%, Q 11 or better, 0201 line
WLCM0603TGJ10NTB WLCM, 0.3 mm 5%, Q 11, SRF 4000, 250 mA No Match on every field
MCI0603TG10NJHBP MCI, 0.3 mm 5%, Q 11, SRF 4000, 250 mA No Match on every published field; mismatch on prefix and packing code
WLCM0603TNJ10NTB WLCM, 0.3 mm 5%, Q 14, SRF 3200, 250 mA No Match on tolerance and a higher Q; mismatch on SRF, 3200 against 4000
MCI0603TM10NJHBP MCI-TM, 0.3 mm 5%, Q 14, SRF 3200, 0.25 A, RDC printed without a unit No Match on a higher Q; mismatch on SRF and on how current and resistance are printed
WLCM0603Z0J10NTB WLCM, 0.3 mm 5%, Q 5, SRF 4500, 250 mA No Mismatch: Q, 5 against 11 or better
WLCM0603TGH10NTB WLCM, 0.3 mm 3%, Q 11, SRF 4000, 250 mA No Mismatch: tolerance, 3% is tighter than 5%

A higher Q comes with a lower SRF in these rows, 3200 against 4000, so the better Q is not a free upgrade; which side of that trade suits a match is a design decision that stays with you.

How many distinct data sets sit behind the 888 rows?

Four hundred and thirty. We grouped all 888 Walsin 0201 nanohenry rows by inductance, tolerance, Q, SRF, resistance, current and thickness and found 430 distinct data sets: 82 appear in one series, 240 in two and 108 in three.

So a buyer who counts 888 candidates has 430 real choices, and the second and third series are alternative ordering codes for the same published data. That is useful for second-sourcing and misleading for a count. Whether two rows with identical published data are the same part is a question the export cannot answer, and we hold no datasheet for this family to resolve it. Our inductor range lists the families.

What does the Hong Kong shelf hold for this line?

None of the 14. As at 23 September 2026 our list holds 1,125 distinct part numbers, 2 of them inductors, WLPH252012M2R2PP and WLPH252012M4R7PP, both 2520 power inductors, and none of the 888 0201 nanohenry rows is among them.

A 10 nH, 0201 inductor is therefore a factory order, requested through the site. The ready stock list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. Our post on Walsin passive components in Hong Kong stock explains how to read it.

What will we not tell you about network sites?

Anything about a band, a site or a power system. We hold no datasheet for any Walsin inductor, 0 of the 5,410 rows are backed by one of our 28 sheets, and we searched all 28 sheets for solar, outdoor and tower and found 0 matches on the first two; telecommunication appears in 7 sheets and a base station in 3, all as application lists on capacitor and resistor sheets.

We cannot say which of the 14 rows suits a given band, and the export publishes no saturation current for them. We hold no office, entity or stock in Papua New Guinea; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We give no legal, customs or conformity advice; confirm with your compliance team.

Why do buyers in Papua New Guinea choose Venatech?

Because we show a Papua New Guinean buyer the mismatches as well as the matches, and we can prove the rest: 28 Walsin datasheets held, 451 pages, and one named authorised line. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong; Walsin is our only authorised line, and Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. We confirm nothing we cannot show.

Papua New Guinean network contractors often need a few boards’ worth of parts at a remote site, and a small lot is a normal order for us. For a matching inductor:

  • We show you how many choices there really are. In the 0201 range 888 rows hold 430 data sets, and we tell you which codes repeat each other.
  • We state the Q-against-SRF trade. The Q 14 rows have a lower SRF than the Q 11 rows, and you see that in the table before you choose.

  • Hong Kong-based service, small lots welcome. A prototype or pilot quantity is a normal order for us, requested through the site.

  • Breadth you can count. Our Walsin extracts (00_ALL_MLCC_parts_combined.xlsx, Walsin_Inductor_ALL.xlsx, Walsin_MOV_ALL.xlsx, Walsin_DiscCap_ALL.xlsx, Walsin_Antenna_ALL.xlsx and the chip-resistor, thin-film and RF files) hold 359,135 distinct part numbers, and the VenaMatch tool covers 800,000+ crossable parts.
  • Honest cross-referencing. Every candidate is shown with each field marked match or mismatch, so you see the gap before you lay out a board.
  • Checkable credentials. We are an authorised Walsin Technology distributor in Hong Kong, which you can confirm with Walsin. We hold 28 Walsin datasheets, 451 pages, and send the relevant one on request.

How can Venatech help a Papua New Guinean buyer with a radio-board inductor line?

By showing the differences instead of hiding them, across 800,000+ crossable parts, in small lots. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong. Walsin is our only authorised line; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply.

  • Cross-reference. Paste your incumbent number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read the Walsin candidates with each field marked match or mismatch.
  • BOM check. Upload the whole bill of materials to /bom/, up to 500 part numbers or an Excel or CSV file.
  • Ready stock. The ready-stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026, not live.
  • Service. Hong Kong-based, small lots, help with cross-referencing by hand when the tool returns no clean candidate, and a quote requested through the site.

Worked example from our own export: a 10 nH, plus or minus 5%, Q 11 or better, 0201 inductor maps to WLCM0603TGJ10NTB or its twin MCI0603TG10NJHBP, to WLCM0603TNJ10NTB if you accept Q 14 with a lower SRF, and to nothing on the shelf. Confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.

The short version

For a Papua New Guinean network buyer, a 10 nH, 0201 line finds 14 Walsin rows behind only 6 data sets, and the whole 0201 nanohenry export is 888 rows behind 430. None is on the Hong Kong shelf.

Paste one matching inductor from a radio board into the free cross-reference tool, or upload the board to /bom/, and we will return the Walsin candidates with every difference stated and the stock position named. If two ordering codes publish identical data, would you want both on your approved list?

Frequently asked questions

What did Vodafone PNG say about its network in March 2026?

Business Advantage PNG reported on 31 March 2026 that Vodafone PNG had built 800 4G-plus sites across 22 provinces, targeted 1,200 within 18 months and aimed to lift mobile penetration from 46% to about 70% to 80%. The article mentions no components.

How many Walsin 0201 inductors are 10 nH?

We counted 14 of 888 0201 nanohenry rows: 6 in WLCM, 6 in MCI and 2 in MCI-TM, at plus or minus 3% and 5%, in Q tiers of 5, 11 and 14. They carry only 6 distinct data sets.

Are the WLCM and MCI rows the same part?

They publish identical data at 10 nH: tolerance, Q, SRF, resistance, current and thickness match row for row. Whether they are the same part is a question we cannot answer, since we hold no datasheet for this family.

Is a 10 nH 0201 inductor on the Hong Kong shelf?

No. As at 23 September 2026 our list holds 2 inductors, both 2520 power parts, and no 0201 inductor. Each candidate is a quote requested through the site. The list is a dated snapshot and is never live-synced.

Does a higher Q cost anything in these rows?

In the 10 nH rows the Q 14 tier prints a lower SRF, 3200, than the Q 11 tier, 4000. Which side of that trade suits your match is a design decision that stays with you.

Does Venatech have an office in Papua New Guinea?

No. We hold no office, entity or stock in Papua New Guinea. Venatech Limited is based in Hong Kong with locations in Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, and Chengdu in preparation. We serve Papua New Guinean buyers from Hong Kong in small lots.
