Cameroon Solar Home System and Mini-Grid Electronics from Hong Kong: A Yageo CC1206KKX7R9BB105 1 Microfarad Line Finds 8 Walsin 1206 X7R Rows at 50 V or More, and the Exact 50 V Match Is on Our Shelf

Cameroon solar home system and mini-grid electronics from Hong Kong start with an honest MLCC cross. We resolved a Yageo CC1206KKX7R9BB105, a 1 microfarad, 10%, 50 V X7R 1206 capacitor, and found 8 Walsin Technology (Walsin) rows rated 50 V or more. The exact match, 1206B105K500, is on our shelf.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin MLCC export of 23,601 distinct part numbers, 28 Walsin datasheets (451 pages) and a stock list dated 23 September 2026. This post is for a design or procurement engineer at a Cameroonian solar-home-system, mini-grid or charge-controller maker or importer who has a Yageo 1 microfarad 1206 capacitor on a bill of materials and wants Walsin candidates in small lots from Hong Kong. Every Walsin part number is real, every count is ours, and the news statement names its source and the day we fetched it, 2 November 2026.

What did the September 2026 reports say about Cameroon’s electrification plans?

Business in Cameroon reported on 9 September 2026 that Cameroon is seeking funding to connect about 8 million more people to electricity by 2030 under its National Energy Compact and the Mission 300 initiative, from an access rate it put at between 63% and 65%, using grid extensions, mini-grids and standalone solar.

The article, which we fetched on 2 November 2026, quotes a World Bank official and states a financing need but reports no committed funding. A separate Business in Cameroon report on 7 September 2026, cited in our companion post on a Yageo power resistor, put installed capacity at an estimated 2,280 MW at end-2025 against an interim target of 3,500 MW. Neither names an electronic component, so we draw no link between the numbers and any capacitor. Our view, labelled as ours: off-grid and mini-grid kits are built from charge controllers and inverters, and every one carries 1 microfarad class decoupling. We have no relationship with any Cameroonian utility, ministry or lender.

What does a Yageo CC1206KKX7R9BB105 say, field by field?

Yageo’s own specification page for CC1206KKX7R9BB105, resolved on 2 November 2026, shows a 1 microfarad, plus or minus 10% capacitor in X7R, rated 50 VDC, in 1206 (3216 metric), with a thickness of 1.6 mm, plus or minus 0.2 mm.

Field Yageo CC1206KKX7R9BB105 (page value) Walsin 1206B105K500 (export) Match / mismatch
Case 1206 (3216 metric) 1206 Match
Capacitance 1 microfarad 1000nF Match, the export writes it in nanofarad
Tolerance plus or minus 10% +-10% Match
Dielectric X7R X7R Match
Voltage 50 VDC 50Vdc Match
Thickness 1.6 mm, plus or minus 0.2 mm 1.60+0.30/-0.10 Mismatch: the band is plus 0.3 and minus 0.1, not symmetric
Termination not stated on the page we read no value in the export Open: confirm on the datasheet

The string CC1206KKX7R9BB105 is not in the Walsin export and is not a Walsin number. The Walsin sheet for the general purpose series is WTC_MLCC_General_Purpose.pdf, which we hold.

Which Walsin rows answer a 1 microfarad, X7R, 10%, 50 V, 1206 line?

We parsed the 3,348 Walsin 1206 MLCC rows and found 43 at 1 microfarad, 40 of them X7R, 18 of those at plus or minus 10%, and 8 of those 18 rated 50 V or more: 1206B105K500, 1206B105K101, MT31B105K500, MT31B105K101, ST31B105K101, SG31B105K500, SH31B105K500 and SH31B105K101. We have not seen this counted anywhere.

Walsin part Series as exported Thickness, voltage On shelf 23 Sep 2026 Match / mismatch against the Yageo line
1206B105K500 General purpose 1.60+0.30/-0.10 mm, 50 V Yes Match on the five electrical fields; mismatch: thickness band
1206B105K101 General purpose 1.60+0.30/-0.10 mm, 100 V No Mismatch: voltage double; thickness band
MT31B105K500 Automotive MT 1.60+0.30/-0.10 mm, 50 V No Match on the electrical fields; mismatch: an AEC-Q200 compliant family
SH31B105K500 Soft termination SH (Ag-poly) 1.60±0.50 mm, 50 V No Match on the electrical fields; mismatch: soft termination; thickness band
SG31B105K500 Soft termination SG (Cu-poly) 1.60±0.50 mm, 50 V No Match on the electrical fields; mismatch: a copper-polymer soft termination
1206B105K250 General purpose 1.15±0.15 mm, 25 V Yes Mismatch: voltage 25 V against 50 V; 0.45 mm thinner

Four of the 8 candidates are rated 100 V and four are rated exactly 50 V. Our post on how to cross-reference an MLCC gives the method, and our MLCC range lists the series.

Why does the 25 V general purpose row measure 0.45 mm thinner than the 50 V row?

Because the export lists them with different thickness values at the same capacitance: 1206B105K250 carries 1.15±0.15 mm and 1206B105K500 carries 1.60+0.30/-0.10 mm, a step of 0.45 mm between a 25 V and a 50 V row of one family.

We read that off the export rows. It means voltage and body height move together in this family, as they do in others, so a buyer who trades voltage for stock also changes height. For a slim solar-controller enclosure the thinner part may help; for a footprint designed around 1.6 mm it is a different body. We will not tell you a part is interchangeable. We will show you where it differs. The third shelf row at this value, 1206B105J500, is 50 V at plus or minus 5%, so it differs on tolerance.

What does the Hong Kong shelf hold for this line?

As at 23 September 2026 our list holds 1,125 distinct part numbers, 102 of them in the 1206 MLCC export, and 1 of the 8 candidates for this line, 1206B105K500, is among them; the other 7 are factory orders.

Three 1 microfarad 1206 X7R rows are on the list in all: the exact match, the 25 V row and the 5% row. The ready stock list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced, and we quote part-number counts, never piece counts. Our post on Walsin passive components in Hong Kong stock explains how to read it. Shelf position changes, so treat the snapshot as a starting question for the quote, not as a promise of availability.

What will we not tell you about Cameroonian conditions?

We searched the text of all 28 Walsin datasheets we hold, 451 pages, for Cameroon, Africa and tropic, and found 0 matches. We therefore say nothing about climate, humidity or standards in Cameroon, and we give no legal, customs or conformity advice; confirm with your compliance team.

We hold no office, entity or stock in Cameroon; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. The export carries no termination, lifecycle or bias-curve field for these parts, and qualification stays with you.

Why do buyers in Cameroon choose Venatech?

Because the cross is honest, small-lot friendly and made in Hong Kong. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor, and Walsin is the one line we call authorised; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply.

  • A tool that shows the mismatches. Paste the Yageo number into VenaMatch, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts. Here you see 8 candidates and the thickness difference on every one, not a single confident guess.
  • Range you can count. Walsin’s MLCC export lists 23,601 distinct part numbers, 3,348 of them in 1206, and 43 of those at 1 microfarad. A Cameroonian buyer sees plain, automotive-compliant and soft-termination rows at one value.
  • A Hong Kong shelf and small lots. The exact 50 V match is on our dated ready-stock list, snapshot 23 September 2026, not live, and small lots welcome for kits and pilot runs.
  • Honest about gaps. We tell you the thickness band differs on the shelf part and that we hold no climate or bias data. That honesty is part of the service.

How can Venatech help a Cameroonian buyer cross a Yageo part?

By showing the differences instead of hiding them, in small lots. Venatech Limited is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong.

  • Cross-reference. Paste your Yageo number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and read the Walsin candidates with each field marked match or mismatch.
  • BOM check. Upload the controller or inverter bill of materials to /bom/, up to 500 part numbers or an Excel or CSV file.
  • Ready stock. The ready-stock list is a Hong Kong snapshot dated 23 September 2026, not live.
  • Service. Hong Kong-based, small lots, help with cross-referencing by hand when the tool returns no clean candidate, and a quote requested through the site.

Worked example from our own export: a Yageo 1 microfarad, 10%, X7R, 50 V, 1206 line maps to 1206B105K500, which is on our shelf, on five electrical fields with a different thickness band. Confirm against both datasheets and qualify in your own circuit.

The short version

For a Cameroonian buyer, a Yageo CC1206KKX7R9BB105 line finds 8 Walsin 1206 rows at 1 microfarad, X7R, 10% and 50 V or more, and the exact 50 V general purpose match is on the Hong Kong shelf, with a thickness band that differs from the Yageo page.

Send us one capacitor from a Cameroonian solar-kit bill of materials and we will return the Walsin candidates with every difference stated and the stock position named. If your enclosure has 0.2 mm of height margin, does an asymmetric thickness band matter to you?
