Electronics Importers in Macau Sourcing from Hong Kong: Macau Imports Rose 24.6 Percent in the First Half of 2026, and a Yageo RC0603JR-07220RL Line Finds 9 Discrete Walsin 0603 Rows at 1/10 W, Plus 8 More 0603 Rows That Are Arrays, None on Our Shelf

A Yageo RC0603JR-07220RL line in Macau, a 220 ohm, plus or minus 5 percent, 100 ppm resistor in 0603 rated 0.1 W, has 9 discrete Walsin rows at 1/10 W. Eight more 0603 rows are arrays, not candidates. None is on our Hong Kong shelf as at 23 September 2026.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) chip resistor export export: every 0603 row with 220 ohm and plus or minus 5 percent tolerance, 32 in all. This post is for a buyer or design engineer at a Macau electronics trader, hospitality-systems integrator or repair business whose bill of materials names a Yageo part and who wants a Walsin candidate with every difference stated. We read Yageo’s own specification page for the number on 2 November 2026 and compared it with the Walsin export field by field. Every Walsin part number below is real and every count is ours.

What did Macau’s statistics service report, and what does it not say?

Macau’s imports of goods rose 24.6 percent to 74.33 billion patacas in the first half of 2026 and exports rose 24.0 percent to 8.22 billion, leaving a deficit of 66.12 billion patacas, according to the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) release of 31 July 2026. The release is about goods trade in total, not about resistors, electronics or any named company, and we draw no conclusion about demand for any component. We have no relationship with DSEC.

What does Yageo’s RC0603JR-07220RL actually specify?

Yageo’s specification page for RC0603JR-07220RL lists 220 ohm, plus or minus 5 percent, 100 ppm per degree C, 0.1 W, 75 V maximum working voltage, EIA 0603, thickness 0.45 mm. The number reads as RC for the chip-resistor family, 0603 for the case, J for plus or minus 5 percent, R for 100 ppm, and 220R as the value. It is a single resistor, not an array. We hold no Yageo catalogue beyond that page and make no statement about any Yageo part’s status. Source: Yageo specification page for RC0603JR-07220RL, fetched 2 November 2026.

Why do 32 Walsin rows shrink to 9 on a discrete 0603 line?

Of the 32 Walsin rows for 0603, 220 ohm and plus or minus 5 percent, 8 are resistor arrays, leaving 24 discrete rows, and only 9 of those are rated 1/10 W with 100 ppm or better: WR06X221JTL, SR06X221JTL, WF06S221JTL and six more. The 8 array rows (WA, SA and MA series) share the 0603 size label with a single chip but are multi-element array packages, so they cannot replace a discrete line. The 24 discrete rows split by rated power as 12 at 1/10 W, 7 at 1/8 W, 3 at 1/3 W and 2 at 1/4 W, and none of the 32 is on the Hong Kong list dated 23 September 2026. Maximum working voltage is printed on the Yageo page (75 V) but is not a column in our export, so we state no Walsin voltage; read the General Purpose approval sheet (ASC_WR_V24, September 2016) before you swap. MR and SR carry automotive labels in the export, a different grade class from a commercial RC part, which we have not compared.

What does each row change against the 0.1 W line?

Temperature coefficient, rated power and package type are the fields that move. Of the 8 Walsin rows shown, three match all compared fields, and one is an array shown as the trap.

Walsin part Series Size, value, tolerance, power Match / mismatch against the Yageo line On the 23 September 2026 list Your incumbent

WF06P221JTL High Power 0603, 220 ohm, plus or minus 5%, 1/8W Match on size, value, tolerance, TCR; mismatch on rated power higher (1/8W against 0.1 W) No
WA06X221JTL Chip Resistor Array 0603, 220 ohm, plus or minus 5%, 1/10W Match on size, value, tolerance, power; mismatch on TCR up to 200 against 100 ppm No

The array row WA06X221JTL matches the table’s electrical fields yet is a multi-resistor package: the table cannot show that, which is why you must read the series. A 1/8 W High Power row is a candidate for review, not a substitution. The shelf is a dated snapshot, never live stock, and none of these rows is on it.

What will we not tell you about Macau?

Anything about Macau customs, duties, certification or procurement rules. We hold no office, entity or stock in Macau; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We state no duty rate, transit time or carrier, and we give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team.

Why buyers in Macau choose Venatech

Macau buyers get a candidate and its differences in one reply. Venatech is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong; confirm that with Walsin. VenaMatch decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts, and for this line it separated the 8 array rows from the 24 discrete rows and found 9 discrete Walsin rows at the same 1/10 W, each with the changed field named. Small lots are welcome, the service is Hong Kong-based, and the ready-stock list is dated 23 September 2026. None of the 32 rows is on that list, and we say so plainly rather than imply stock; a quote request tells you what can be sourced. We also tell you what we do not hold: 84.2 percent of the 359,135 Walsin part numbers in our exports have no datasheet on file, and we say so instead of guessing. Ask for any of the 28 datasheets we hold (451 pages) and it comes by email.

How Venatech helps

Paste the incumbent number into the free cross-reference tool, which decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers across 800,000+ crossable parts and lists Walsin candidates with match and mismatch fields, or upload the list to the BOM checker, up to 500 part numbers. The Hong Kong ready-stock list is a dated snapshot, 23 September 2026, never live-synced. Walsin is the only line we are authorised for; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. We work from Hong Kong, in small lots, and you can request a quote through the site. We offer lot and date-code traceability and a certificate of conformity per shipment on request. We hold neither ISO 9001 nor IATF 16949. Worked example from our exports: paste RC0603JR-07220RL and VenaMatch returns the discrete 1/10 W Walsin rows as candidates and flags the array rows separately. The chip resistor range lists the families, our post on chip resistor arrays explained and WR and MR series compared field by field cover the neighbouring fields. Qualification stays with you.

The short version

One Yageo line, nine discrete Walsin rows at the same 1/10 W. Eight further 0603 rows are arrays and are not candidates for a single chip. None of the 32 is on the 23 September 2026 list.

Send us one 0603 resistor line from your bill of materials and we will return the discrete Walsin rows with every difference stated. Is the position a single resistor, or one element of an array?

What did Macau report in the source you cite?

DSEC reported on 31 July 2026 that Macau’s imports of goods rose 24.6 percent to 74.33 billion patacas in the first half of 2026 and exports rose 24.0 percent to 8.22 billion. The release does not mention resistors, and we draw no conclusion about any company.

Which Walsin part crosses to Yageo RC0603JR-07220RL?

Nine discrete Walsin rows match on size, value, tolerance, temperature coefficient and 1/10 W rating, led by WR06X221JTL. Confirm voltage and grade on the datasheets and qualify the swap in your own circuit.

Are any of the Walsin rows on your shelf?

No. None of the 32 Walsin 0603, 220 ohm, plus or minus 5 percent rows is on the Hong Kong list dated 23 September 2026. The list is a snapshot, not live. Request a quote through the site to ask what can be sourced.

Why do you exclude 8 of the 32 rows?

They are resistor arrays, series WA, SA and MA, which hold several elements in one 0603-labelled package. A discrete Yageo line has one resistor, so an array is not a candidate unless your layout is for an array.

Does Walsin match the 75 V rating?

Our export has no voltage column, so we do not state a Walsin working voltage for these rows. Read it on the approval sheet and compare it with the 75 V on Yageo’s page before any swap.

Do you ship to Macau or state its import rules?

We ship from Hong Kong and state no duty, customs, certification or transit information for Macau. We hold no office or stock there and give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team.
