Sourcing RF Capacitors for Cyprus’s Telecom and Marine Electronics Makers from Hong Kong: Only the 1111 Case Carries Walsin RF MLCC at 500 V Above 68 pF (31 Rows) or at 1500 V (15 Rows), and All 246 Rows in 0505 and 1111 Are Off the Shelf

For a Cyprus buyer sourcing RF capacitors, Walsin’s microwave series has 3,900 rows, and only the 1111 case reaches the high-voltage end: 31 rows hold more than 68 pF at 500 V and 15 hold 1500 V, with nothing else in the series above 500 V. The 0505 and 1111 cases together are 246 NP0 rows, and none was on our 23 September 2026 list.

Venatech Limited, an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong, holds the Walsin Technology (Walsin) MLCC parametric export: 24,026 rows, 23,601 distinct part numbers, in 16 series, the Microwave (RF) series among them. This post is for a procurement or design engineer at a Cypriot telecom, radio or marine electronics maker with an RF capacitor on the bill of materials. Every Walsin part number below is real and every count is ours, parsed on 2 November 2026. The trade development it cites names its source, its date and the day we fetched it.

What did Cyprus’s external trade figures show for January to August 2026?

Imports outran exports. The Cyprus Mail reported on 12 October 2026, citing the statistical service, that Cyprus exported goods worth 3.95 billion euros from January to August 2026, up 5 percent, and imported 10.26 billion, up 10.9 percent, a deficit of 6.3 billion. The article also gave telecommunications equipment exports of 21.6 million euros for January to July 2026.

For a buyer, that is context and nothing more. A trade total says nothing about which capacitors any Cypriot company buys, and the article names no component and no supplier. We draw no conclusion from it. We have no relationship with the Cyprus Mail or the statistical service.

How many RF capacitors does Walsin list, and in which cases?

3,900 rows in seven cases. We counted the Series and Size fields of the MLCC export, 00_ALL_MLCC_parts_combined.xlsx (23,601 distinct part numbers): the Microwave (RF) series has 987 rows at 0402, 969 at 0201, 781 at 0603, 626 at 0805, 291 at 01R5, 149 at 1111 and 97 at 0505. The last two are unusual cases that no other Walsin series uses.

All 246 rows in 0505 and 1111 are NP0. The 0505 case runs from 0.4 pF to 100 pF and is almost all 250 V, 96 rows against one at 100 V. The 1111 case runs from 0.6 pF to 1,000 pF across six voltages. We have not seen the two cases counted anywhere else, and our post on high Q and low ESR MLCC for RF covers the neighbouring HH series.

Which RF case reaches 500 V and 1500 V?

Only two cases reach 500 V, and only one goes beyond. We filtered the 3,900 RF rows by rated voltage: 272 are at 500 V, 157 of them at 0805 and 115 at 1111, and the 15 rows at 1500 V are all 1111. The 0805 rows at 500 V stop at 68 pF; above 68 pF at 500 V the only RF case is the 1111, with 31 rows reaching 1,000 pF.

That is the finding. A design that needs an RF capacitor at 500 V above 68 pF, or at 1500 V, has one Walsin case to choose and a footprint of about 2.8 by 2.8 mm to find room for. The 1111 rows list length and width as 2.79 mm with a tolerance and thickness as a ceiling of 1.78 mm, not a nominal. We hold the Walsin Microwave RF datasheet, 06_Microwave_RF.pdf (19 pages, dated Apr.2026), which covers 01005 to 1111 and 6.3 V to 1500 V and prints a Q limit for 1111 of at least 800 plus 20 times the capacitance below 30 pF; confirm the electrical limits against that datasheet for your frequency.

Which Walsin parts match a 5.6 pF 500 V RF line, and where do they differ?

Take a 5.6 pF, 0.1 pF tolerance, 500 V NP0 RF line at 1111 as the incumbent. We read the rows below from the export; the like-for-like part is at 1111, and the smaller cases differ in voltage or body. Column four is for your incumbent part.

Walsin part Size, dielectric, value, tolerance, voltage, thickness Match / mismatch Your incumbent
RF22N5R6B501 1111, NP0, 5.6 pF, plus or minus 0.1 pF, 500 V, thickness up to 1.78 mm Match on size, dielectric, value, tolerance, voltage; not stocked
RF21N5R6B501 0805, NP0, 5.6 pF, plus or minus 0.1 pF, 500 V, 0.85 plus or minus 0.10 mm Match on dielectric, value, tolerance, voltage; mismatch on size: 0805 not 1111, new pads; not stocked
RF11N5R6B251 0505, NP0, 5.6 pF, plus or minus 0.1 pF, 250 V, 1.15 plus or minus 0.15 mm Match on dielectric, value, tolerance; mismatch on voltage and size: 250 V, 0505; not stocked
RF18N5R6B251 0603, NP0, 5.6 pF, plus or minus 0.1 pF, 250 V, 0.80 plus or minus 0.07 mm Match on dielectric, value, tolerance; mismatch on voltage and size: 250 V, 0603; not stocked

We will not tell you a part is a drop-in match. We will show you where it differs. At 5.6 pF the 0805 row also gives 500 V, so a 5.6 pF line can leave the 1111; a 100 pF line at 500 V cannot.

How much of the Walsin RF range is on the Hong Kong shelf?

67 of 3,900 rows, none in the two odd cases. We joined our ready-stock list as at 23 September 2026, 1,125 part numbers, to the export on exact part number: 27 RF rows at 0201, 23 at 0402, 12 at 0603 and 5 at 0805 are on it, and 0 at 0505 or 1111. The list is a dated snapshot, never live-synced, and a join on exact string can miss a line.

A 1111 or 0505 RF line is therefore a factory order from Walsin, with no lead time stated because none is established in the documents we hold. The one shelf line at 2211, a safety series, shows how rare an odd case is on the list. Our Hong Kong stock post explains how to read it.

What will we not tell you about Cyprus?

Anything about Cypriot regulation, customs or conformity. We hold no office, entity or stock in Cyprus; our locations are Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jiangmen, with Chengdu in preparation. We state no duty, border procedure, transit time or carrier, and we give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team. We hold neither ISO 9001 nor IATF 16949.

Why buyers in Cyprus choose Venatech

A Cypriot RF engineer gets a distributor that can name the one case that fits. Venatech is an authorised Walsin distributor in Hong Kong whose MLCC export holds 23,601 distinct part numbers in 16 series, 3,900 rows of them in the RF series, and whose free cross-reference tool decodes 18 manufacturers’ part numbers over 800,000+ crossable parts and lists each Walsin candidate with its match and mismatch fields. The 1111 and 0505 cases above are the kind of detail a catalogue page does not surface.

Small lots are welcome, the service runs from Hong Kong, and the ready-stock list carries its date, so you know which snapshot you read. Walsin is the only line we are authorised for; Stackpole and Viking are lines we supply. We hold 28 Walsin datasheets, 451 pages, and send the one for your series on request.

How can Venatech help a Cypriot telecom or marine electronics maker?

Start with the free cross-reference tool: paste your RF capacitor number and filter for high Q or low ESR, with every difference from your original stated. Upload a list to the BOM checker, up to 500 part numbers, to find every RF line that falls into the 1111 or 0505 case. The Hong Kong ready-stock list is a snapshot dated 23 September 2026, not live. Small lots are fine, and you can request a quote through the site; we publish no prices here.

A worked example from our own export: a 5.6 pF, 0.1 pF, 500 V line at 1111 maps to RF22N5R6B501, or to RF21N5R6B501 on a smaller 0805 pad. Our MLCC range lists the families. Qualification stays with you.

The short version

Walsin’s RF series has 3,900 rows, and only the 1111 case reaches 500 V above 68 pF, 31 rows, or 1500 V, 15 rows. The 0505 and 1111 cases hold 246 NP0 rows, and none was on our list as at 23 September 2026. The Cyprus Mail trade report of 12 October 2026 is context only.

Send us one RF capacitor from your Cypriot bill of materials and we will return the Walsin parts with every difference stated, including voltage and case. Does the design really need the 500 V rung?

Frequently asked questions

How many RF capacitors does Walsin list?

We counted 3,900 rows in the Microwave (RF) series of the 24,026-row MLCC export, in seven cases from 01R5 to 1111. The 0402 case has the most, 987 rows, and the 0505 case the fewest, 97.

Which Walsin RF capacitor case handles 1500 V?

Only the 1111. All 15 RF rows at 1500 V are 1111 parts, from 0.6 pF to 33 pF. No other case in the RF series is rated above 500 V, so a 1500 V requirement has a single footprint.

Can an 0805 RF capacitor replace a 1111 at 500 V?

Only at low values. The 0805 rows at 500 V stop at 68 pF. Above 68 pF at 500 V the 1111 is the only RF case, with 31 rows up to 1,000 pF. The pad pattern also differs.

Is any Walsin 1111 or 0505 RF capacitor in Hong Kong stock?

No. None of the 246 rows appears on our ready-stock list dated 23 September 2026. Sixty-seven RF rows in smaller cases are on it. The list is a snapshot, not live, and we state no lead time.

Did the Cyprus Mail report say anything about capacitors?

No. The article of 12 October 2026 gives January to August goods exports of 3.95 billion euros and telecom equipment exports of 21.6 million euros for January to July. It names no component, and we draw no conclusion about Cypriot purchasing.

Do you give Cypriot customs or conformity advice?

No. We hold no Cypriot entity or stock. We give no legal or customs advice; confirm with your compliance team. We supply parts, and qualification stays with you.
